@TheLatochia Either one of them deserved to win. Their styles are so different you can't even compare them. Kris Allen is more the style of a male singer that I like so why would I say that Adam should have won. I vote for who I prefer to listen to on the radio. Adam is an entertaining performer, but Kris Allen sounds better on the radio to me. I like Adam's music, but not my first choice of genre.

He's alot better than I expected, but I think Rob Thomas does it much better.

They both seem to be able to sing it really well but I think Rob Thomas sings it more from his heart, if you know what I mean.

I got to see him perform this last night. He has a few pitchy notes here and there, but overall this was amazing. I thought his version was better than the original, and I love the original a lot!

He also did this little 'dip' into the finale song, which was so cute haha...

I'm a big Matchbox20 fan and this was the best performance of a Matchbox song by another artist that I've ever seen. Rob Thomas would be proud (or threatened, since it was THAT good). Kris once again wows with his phrasing, the passion he shows when he sings, and I love that he looks like he's massaging that piano. Best part, though? When he rocks out on the guitar. Now THAT is a true American Idol - you can see it in the way he really enjoys himself while performing that he really loves this.

Kris did an awesome job, but,,, my heart goes out to him, because he would have to be dumb, deaf and blind not to know who the STAR of the show is. At the tacoma dome, most of the crowd stood thru all of Adams songs, but they only stood for Kris's first song. I hope he is sucessful in all his endeavors. We know Adam will have no problem with fame. I love both of them, just love Adam more. lol
