I mean honestly, if you plan on making risotto for example, how are you going to get the flavour into the risotto if you are so much against stock pots / cubes? You can't just add water all the time, it will get bland. Stock pots and cubes are perfect to get that extra flavour into things, for example, I made pepper sauce for steak yesterday, and along using resting juices of the steak I added a dash of Knorr Chicken Fond. It was delicious.
@10cookman So then it would taste like salt, pepper and truffel oil water. great, I can tell you it's quite bland. Stock pots give you the closest effect to a real stock in a domestic kitchen, no point starting to make your own stock if it's not a professional kitchen.
I tasted one of these chicken stock pots dissolved to a water and honestly it was good. Made some mushroom chicken risotto out of it, delicious.
@Frouza how difficult is for you put vegetables in a pan with water, and white wine, boil 20 minutes and make a vegetable stock?? stock pot is a crap, is very tasty because is a salt concentration......
@10cookman It's not? It just takes time and sometimes it's really not worth it to start making your own for example, chicken stock out of chicken carcasses (which I can't even get hold of in my place) and herbs and vegetables. Im just saying that for example Knorr Chicken Fond gives a really tasty stock in my opinion.

@Damoskinos find out the price of a gun, ammo, registration and hunting license fees. You will need that to kill the deer.
