Circus and Fantasia (down town) were the spots. I know their were alot of places to dance surrounding L.A. (IE. Stevens Steak House Club, 47, Scavos, Wings etc.) but if you wanted to step up and pay the bigger cover charge you found yourself with all the pretty people dressed to kill with mad dance skills on the floor. Very little macho drama/fights just lights-disco music-and pretty latinas, chowwwwww! West side disco por vida. 'Whisper To A Scream'
