Hi scooby, I am a 70kg, 19 year old boy. I am actually trying to gain muscles and lose fat around my belly, this horrible beer belly. My first batch of poobars was a right sticky mess, I was completely unable to shape anything out of the stuff as all that would happen is half of it gluing solidly to my fingers and hands. I weighted all the ingredients properly, so I think it might have to do with my brand of jam, or that my protein powder is chocolate flavored. Also, not sure if it's meant to but it doesn't turn fully solid after hours in the fridge. It tastes fantastic though. Did you invent this Scooby? It's a godsend to me.
Where the hell do I get Flax? I don't live in the US. I've tried some translators and wikipedia, and all I get to is the plant, I can't find the appropriate product.
I guess I'll just use ground biscuits then, it's how they make schnitzels too.

These videos are great for learning quick meals, I used to enjoy my breakfast but now I eat rolled outs whey protein and water :( lol but seriously I didnt realise how important nutrition was until i started doing it. @Kiddalee I'm sure he can handle about 10 grams of sugar from the carrots, sometimes you need to eat foods that contain natural sugars such as apples. Health>bodybuilding.
@Kiddalee There is huge difference of processed crystallized sugar wich is added to almost every food and main reason of tooth decay and and mass obesity and natural sugar, wich is in many fruits (fructose) and vegetables. You should really do some studying, before you make such stupid statements. Carrot has so many good nutrients like beta carrotene, vitamin A and many more.

You should look at some other recipes that Scooby has. He has another protein bar, banana smoothies, bean dishes, and fish, for example.
Ok I just made some Scooby Poo bars, I only used about 200g of protein powder (Type that I hated to use and was just laying around) and the rest accordingly,, these bars are amazing heck I even ate one before I put them in the fridge I was so hungry.
I made some but they were messed up. I didn't know any measurements and it came out too watery, felt like I was making a milk shake lol. I used strawberry protein powder and I put in peanut butter. So much for poo. The only difference between his and mine are his look nasty but taste great. mine looked nasty and tasted even words lmao!

Is there a specific type of protein you need? Because I have this alright protein I got from Costco and the only issue I forsee with it is that it has almost an Alkaline after taste.
@dquin12 Complex carbohydrates are just carbohydrates that take more energy and work to be broken apart into sugars(molecule used for energy). Simple carbohydrates are easy for the body to break into sugar so they are far more efficient. So both yield sugars and sugars are stored in fat cells/muscles/liver. Simple carbs will give you the energy boost your muscles may need before and after workouts to help rebuild the cell. Make sure you watch your calories though, that is easiest way.
@dquin12 not all simple carbs are processed. Starches like potatoes are natural but they are simple carbohydrates. As for long lasting energy I don't think so. When the body breaks the carbohydrates up it can't tell the difference, its all glucose and other sugars in the end. If you want a lot of energy fast simple carbs are your best bet (like how runners eat pasta the night before they run. If you want to restrict your calorie intake, eat complex carbs.
hey i have a question i am on a diet to get abs and i am just wondering what kind of fish and steak do i have to eat. For example is srimp good and also do i have to grill the fish and steak on the same machine as i grill skinless chicken breats.
@rockblast23 Shrimp is good, but its expensive and high in sodium limit to once a week. No, you don't need to grill all your food on the same machine.
@officereagle Its not about the % of calories from one meal its the entire day, and I recommend 25-30% of calories from fat. And its high in healthy fats such as omega 3 and 6.
@NJnaturalBB yeah but Scooby said 10. unless I'm eating an Avacodo or olives, that's what i've been going by. Plus that opens up foods like yogurt, beef, ham and other things that just flat out don't fit in a weight/fat loss diet.

And Scooby isn't the demigod of nutrition, MANY other people will agree with me that 10% coming from fat is unhealthy. Saturated fats aren't necessarily evil and have their purposes in both fat loss and muscle building.
I have a serious problem. I am 13 years old and everything in my house is practically junk food, the only thing my mom buys for me in green grapes and strawberrys. @NovakGoran I don't find them that great, my shoulders get hit just as much in that movement, and it feels awkward. Cable pushdowns if you have equipment, close grip bench and skullcrushers if you just have weights are probably the best, assuming you're also doing benches and shoulder presses.
Scooby. How can anyone actually be so useless at peeling carrots ? Choose bigger carrots. Cut the ends off *after* you peel them. Use a grater, and grate as you go.
I can imagine you using dynamite to open coconuts and a lawnmower to mix your ingredients.

@dquin12 not all simple carbs are processed. Starches like potatoes are natural but they are simple carbohydrates. As for long lasting energy I don't think so. When the body breaks the carbohydrates up it can't tell the difference, its all glucose and other sugars in the end. If you want a lot of energy fast simple carbs are your best bet (like how runners eat pasta the night before they run. If you want to restrict your calorie intake, eat complex carbs.

hey i have a question i am on a diet to get abs and i am just wondering what kind of fish and steak do i have to eat. For example is srimp good and also do i have to grill the fish and steak on the same machine as i grill skinless chicken breats.

@rockblast23 Shrimp is good, but its expensive and high in sodium limit to once a week. No, you don't need to grill all your food on the same machine.

somebody please explain this to me. Scooby said we could not eat anything with more than 10% calories from fat so why is this meal okay?

@officereagle Its not about the % of calories from one meal its the entire day, and I recommend 25-30% of calories from fat. And its high in healthy fats such as omega 3 and 6.

@NJnaturalBB yeah but Scooby said 10. unless I'm eating an Avacodo or olives, that's what i've been going by. Plus that opens up foods like yogurt, beef, ham and other things that just flat out don't fit in a weight/fat loss diet.

@officereagle Seriously? Yogurt and beef are great for a fat loss diet, or any diet for that matter. And Scooby isn't the demigod of nutrition, MANY other people will agree with me that 10% coming from fat is unhealthy. Saturated fats aren't necessarily evil and have their purposes in both fat loss and muscle building.

I have a serious problem. I am 13 years old and everything in my house is practically junk food, the only thing my mom buys for me in green grapes and strawberrys. And im going through the (eat alot stage) as a growing boy and im so hungry when i get home from school and thats all i can eat. and im trying to lose weight but we run out of milk and whey way to fast at our house and its hard to lose weight with 4 people in the house. so any pointers please :)

@NovakGoran I don't find them that great, my shoulders get hit just as much in that movement, and it feels awkward. Cable pushdowns if you have equipment, close grip bench and skullcrushers if you just have weights are probably the best, assuming you're also doing benches and shoulder presses.

Scooby. How can anyone actually be so useless at peeling carrots ? Choose bigger carrots. Cut the ends off *after* you peel them. Use a grater, and grate as you go.
I can imagine you using dynamite to open coconuts and a lawnmower to mix your ingredients.
