It's inevitable that Ray's voice would not be able to hit the insanely high notes during the hard part... time takes its toll, it's just natural. In any case, he and the rest of the band sound simply amazing. Great performance.

@AcerbusCastus It happens with age. I can't hit the notes I used to. Geoff Tate can't do it. Geddy can't do it. As we age, our vocal chords just don't stretch like they did when they were young. That's the problem with setting the bar so high with great music like this when you're young. The only way to go is down... LOL. ;-)

...still his lower tones are emotive as hell....very nicely done.....on thing i give him props for is for not trying to ruin the songs by attempting to sing high....james labrie does that alot........anyway, ray is still one of the best singers i've ever heard.....his work in redemption is amazing.....

One of the best songs ever. Shame his voice lost all of his higher range power. A live concert wont be the same wthout it... A have seen them live (At the SJIWA in Baarlo ages ago lol) when his voice was the best... Fates Rules....!!!!!
