There is not a solvent that easily releases the bond after two items are sealed together.

Ummm...this vid demonstrates that...tape sticks to things. Which is not a big surprise. You might want to contract with JamestownTV, they actually demonstrate your tape.

can you use this with metal and rubber

However, i'm not too sure about rubber as it says nothing about it on the website.
