  • he isnt agein well..#

  • I just got this movie from Netflix. It was not what I expected. I was surprised. Pleasantly surprised. Does anyone know the budget on the movie? I'd really like to know.

  • The film is magnificent. One of the best Herzog's works ever.

  • It was the most boring movie I've ever seen. The script must have had some 5 pages and the story is quite dull. Is the rest of the movie really just recontextualized documentary footage? What the heck? Were the filmmakers too lazy to shoot original footage? Or did they lack money? It seems like a cheap and meaningless imitation of 2001: Space Odyssey. And if the Earth was abandoned 800 years later, when did the alien monologue took place? Who he was talking to? I ask again: What the heck???

  • hahahahaha you're a fucking child who cannot think critically

  • All right, impress me with your highly developed critical thinking. What do you think about this movie?

  • its not what i think, its the fact that you didnt understand why herzog used stock footage and that you compared it to 2001 despite having literally nothing in common with it. and that you couldnt follow the plot even though it was literally fucking handed to you

  • I was fucking sick of the 20 min fucked up moving stuff with fucked up music playing as if it was something epic... I am smart... But even if this is an intelligent movie, there is a point to go and to not cross it, or else it'll turn bad... I understand the movie, but it was just a bad movie...

  • you understand it on a superficial level

  • buff, I'm smart, I just don't care... I just don't want to go as smart as to understanding this emotionally...

Shockingly this movie is in the top 300 worst films ever! Good job Werner Herzog!

  • hahaha according to who

also you're huge into led zeppelin, you literally have the most pedestrian taste imaginable

  • The Golden Turkey Awards, whatever the fuck is that...

And I have huge taste, wider than yours! You think I'm only into Led Zeppelin (and fuck you BTW), but I'm into an unimaginable amount of music, watch out who you are talking to, well trying to insult. Because you don't understand music the same way I do. You judging bands say what you think they are, but shit man? Calling Zep a pedestrian band? Wtf? They influenced me, what do you have against them? They're good! You! An amorphous person.

  • hahahaha you seriously have the exact same taste as every other teenager that plays guitar, your taste is narrow and completely typical

led zeppelin is what college stoners listened to in the 70s, there's nothing profound or even remarkably interesting about them. they stole the blues from old black men and played it faster and that's it

  • Buff, you just don't understand... I mean, you think I have a small taste, but it's fucking wide, and you think I only play guitar, shit man... You really don't know who you are talking to... And only 12 songs were so called ripped from someone else... But not all the song! Just little bit, but for Led Zeppelin, they were just jamming having fun, and giving tributes... Look Jimi Hendrix ripped a lot from Buddy Guy, but he was okay with it... And etc.... And etc... You don't know SHIT...

  • Imagine your musical taste as a toothpick, now imagine mines as a tooth pick but with 30 tomatoes sucks on it... I have huge taste, not only rock, but jazz, classical, blues, pop, rockabilly, etc... Etc... Listen to the song Kashmir by Led Zeppelin, a very talented song, shockingly you don't know what talent is, you just think everything that you don't like is talentless, which is totally wrong! I mean Led Zeppelin is a talented band which revolutionized music with Jazz and Blues and Rock...

  • You are small-minded in music, I am a musician, I write music, create music, listen to music and understand music, I mean I UNDERSTAND music... Yes I know the history of Led Zeppelin, they ripped off little lyrics from the past... But Jimmy Page rarely ripped, and when he did, he always filled it up with so much original work... And it was influences! Buddy Guy accepted Jimi Hendrix because of influences, but they didn't accept LZ because they were white and THOUGHT they were in it for the $...

  • Led Zeppelin weren't in it for the fame or money, in fact it was a shock for them... And they rarely use money, he just uses it for normal things what people would buy... Now I know a lot, and you don't anything, so ask my questions and I will answer them... And seriously The Wild Blue Yonder was just a bad movie in general, but a good movie for it's type... Again you do not know who you are talking to, judging... And talking to me about music, THINKING you know more, it's a joke, seriously...

  • hahahaha you get so hilariously raged at the slightest provocation, OH NO DONT U GO DISSIN THA ZEP

seriously dude you have zero understanding of avant garde cinema and absolutely prosaic taste in music

  • Maybe I'm just not into the style of this movie? Ever thought of that? Oh! You had to say that I don't understand music... Wow! Or have a bad taste, I mean I will like the music you are listening to, for real! I will like your taste plus more, so saying my taste is bad, is like saying yours is bad also... Even if I didn't know what you listen to, I'll probably like it... But Led Zeppelin is a talented great band, that influenced a lot of people, so well even you don't like Zep, it's true...

  • also you literally know nothing about my music taste, so it's pretty funny that you lash out with "You are small-minded in music"

  • well I checked your favs, and there was barely any music...

  • Fuck You... I just get angry when someone says something so wrong for their knowledge in music, and I am trying to correct them, and make them understand... Saying my taste in music is undeveloped? What the fuck man? What the fuck? My taste is wide, how is that undeveloped... I like all my friends music (except for some) and plus even more! I mean the poser of music is incredible! everyone likes it! Music can change you, make you feel sad or happy, music is a whole feeling by its own, and Wooow!

  • if you're as serious about music as you think you are, in 10 years you will be incredibly embarrassed by what you're defending right now

  • Are you talking about Led Zeppelin? I would be embarrassed from what I like? Well let's see, I'll reply you in 10 years... (LOL jk, I WILL forget)... But Led Zeppelin made a big impact to my music that I am creating, and doesn't the music I'm writing sucks and is talentless... Because I write my music for me, my own reason... It could be about something or for someone... Never get embarassed from what you like musically, because it's wrong. Btw do you name of the song you hear during this video?

  • I'll be shock to find out if you are a musician... Because if you were one, you would understand that there is no talentless bands... There is just taste and favorites...

  • hahahaha you seriously think that playing piano and guitar gives you grand cosmic insights, like "taste is subjective?" you have completely undeveloped taste in music, and your taste is totally typical. you think you really understand music for some reason, but you've barely explored it at all

btw, i don't favorite music on youtube because i have hundreds of gigs of it on my hard drives

  • wtf? I've been playing piano for 10 years, guitar for 5 years, saxophone for 2 years, I've been playing harmonica for idk how long, I've been playing the organ for about 9 years... What do you play? I learned first classical music, and the feeling of it was WHOA! What makes you more better than me in music? Tell me what you know? Because you can't just go saying a band is talentless because you don't like it, I mean Led Zeppelin has a lot of talented, how come you can't admit and see it?

  • sociopath much?

  • you don't know what that word means don't use it

  • You're a goddamn kid. Your opinion is useless now. "My taste is wide dawg, the zep has influenced me so much. I can't wait til I'm outta highschool so I can make it big." The problem with the internet is that you can't tell if you're talking to a kid until he says something retarded. In real life you can walk away before it happens. There are talentless bands. Not everyone is equal.

  • @Rarab2 she has a small booger of pussy snot between her lips

  • this is one of the best movies I have seen.

each time I watch it, I look at our species (and our destiny in a way) from a different perspective.

Herzog is definetely a master in film directing...

  • So you actually watched this movie more than once??? You must be such a masochist!

  • It was rated one of the worst movies ever! With Showgirls and Plan 9 From Outer Space!

  • it was rated one of the worst movies ever! EVER!

  • what is this music from??by???someone please tell me!!

  • Google 'Requiem for a Dying Planet'. That's the soundtrack...and it gives me goosebumps everytime

  • this is a "requiem" and singers are from sardinia (italy) : this is a "canto a tenore" typical of sardinia (whit the add of a cello). Excuse me for my bad english !!! ciaooo

  • To be precise it is "cuncordu" and not "tenore"

  • concordo :-)

  • @fraulio cazzio di merda! requiesca et pace :P assassins creed 2 ftw :P thx for the song info dude

  • Great music, Great atmosphere, I realy enjoyed it.

  • LOVED Werner's "Mirage" film... on a double bill DVD with the prescient, portentious "LESSONS OF DARKNESS", a film of biblical proportions.

Werner shoud post all his footage online and ask for remixes! Static truth no more! Ennui? NO! Reunion? OUI!

  • please, post Herzog's SPIEL IM SAND (alias GAME IN THE SAND alias GIOCO SULLA SABBIA)!

  • I dig Herzog (who doesn't like AGUIRRE?) but this movie is astonishingly awful. What was Herzog thinking?

  • I really like fata morgana, those planes landing! As always though, fantastic music, as was wild blue yonder.

  • I'm a big fan of Werner, but I must admit, I got a bit bored during the movie.

  • Have you seen 'Fata Morgana'? I think of all Herzog's films, that is perhaps in many ways the hardest to sit through for a lot of viewers in terms of tedium - we're a culture brought up on high-action, plot-driven films, so Herzog's cinematic 'language' does take some adjusting to. Was WBY in the same vein, i.e. unusually paced, more focus on the film's 'internal life'? I definitely want to see it...

  • dude... i can't believe fata morgana could be hard for people to sit through. i've seen it like 15 times and it might be a little hard for me to sit through at this point but i still do it because it's soooooooooooo SOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!! amazing

  • Im new to herzog ive seen grily man and i want to know of others that are his top notch film. Any ideas. Or any other indie films as well.

  • I haven't seen that many of his documentaries but I would highly recommend 'Encounters at the end of the World'. Among his movies that I've seem I would highly recommend 'Aguirre the Wrath of God', 'Kaspar Hauser', 'Heart of Glass', 'Stoszek' (which Ian Curtis watched before he killed himself) and 'Fitzcarraldo'.

  • Also check out his retrospective on Klaus Kinski 'My Best Fiend' and 'Werner Herzog Eats His Shoe' where Herzog actually eats his shoe to make good on a bet.

And find more Herzog clips like the one where he got shot with an air rifle in the middle of an interview and dismissed it as 'not a significant bullet' and then everything else that he is in because Herzog fucking ownz

  • I'm a big fan of Werner and I loved every minute of this film.

  • I agree... this movie seemed lazy.
