I know this is years later but it's just like the MSI song Backmask (appropriate title) where the song in itself sounded to have a negative meaning but when you play it backwards there are a lot of positive messages. I love when people do stuff like that as a means of saying, "Hey you idiots! Everything you don't understand isn't Satanic! Stop being paranoid!"

From what I've heard, Jeff Lynne was pissed off at some American religious zelots who accused him of putting in backwards masked messages on his previous "Elderado" LP.
