  • he didnt even let it rest before cutting it i dont think this guy knows what hes talking about

  • Cancer style steak.

  • I'm hungry.......

  • That looked medium to me

  • mmmmm now i'm even more hungry

  • I have cooked these steaks many times, before everyone says he "burnt" it you should try it, that burnt part is effing delicious.

  • What an idiot thats a strip steak...

  • @TheVladlol Sirloin and strip are the same thing you fucktard

  • @ScottishCaledonian

NO its not.. Strip comes from the the T-Bone as you might know, what you dont know is that a Sirloin comes from the round which is a totally different cut, if you remove the cap off of a Top Sirloin you can cut it into what is known as Sirloin strips ( most people reffer to it plainly as cap steaks ) thus they are not the same and you are a god damn boner bitting retard.

  • It's BURNT! FUCKER!

  • Love how he calls burning the shit out of something a "nice crust".

  • @milkyecowgomoo yea i have a ''nice crust'' on mine

  • @milkyecowgomoo yeah and says perfect steak too!

  • Thats a new york steak.

  • turn the heat down a little

  • Learning how to grill with Nero Claudius Caesar Augustus Germanicus!!!!

  • Happy grillin' valentina...now go back and practice!

  • Ha ha cool, one of the world's highest class pianist liked this! Very cool.

  • Valentina Lisitsa is cooking steaks...lol..

  • Great chefs can make mistakes too. Howdini should have had another steak on "stand-by" in case a mistake was made, in this case, overly charred.

  • me like me eat

  • I LOVE STEAK.

  • @rahrahcool beef tube steak... up ur anus.

  • Burnt a bit or not, but I dunno man, when he cut into that badboy I was like fuuuu---

  • Listen people I shit you not...I watched this guys clip and took his advice on how to cook a medium rare steak...Let me tell you it works everytime..It comes out perfect...But the only thing I do different from him is, I put the steak on at 400 degrees....

  • Seems to me that was a New York steak, not sirloin, and it looked a bit burnt to me, not to mention he didn't let the meat "rest" for a few minutes before cutting into it. Right idea though.

  • close the lid already, roofus!

  • This must be some native way to cook steaks. You don't let flames touch a steak unless you want it burnt black. Americans don't eat burnt black "crust" on their steaks.

  • He didn't lie, he was grilling a piece of perfect sirloin steak, he wasn't talking about the way he grilled it. Or else it would have been titled "how to perfectly grill a sirloin steak" :D

  • SORRY MATE WAS THAT STEAK FOR U OR FOR THE DOG????????

  • he totally burnt the steak!

  • that thing is burnt and he should have let the steak rest before cutting it

  • "you want to make sure you sear in all the flavor" haha looks like he was planning on never letting the flavor out lmao BURNT

  • its whats on the inside that counts....lol....sike....inside looked good but i cook steaks all day and you CAN MAKE THE INSIDE AS PRETTY AS THE OUTSIDE

  • Well..... I guess I'm not going to Morton's Steak House then.

  • hahhahahahahahahaa nice n burnt eh??

  • ppl want honesty man.. just tell them (it was burnt.. i have many meetings,, let's re-shoot this video tomorrow.) instead of looking like an idiot

  • Why must men make fools of them selves trying to show off for the other 'boys' by using ridiculously bad language regarding how to cook a steak. OK guys, we are all very impressed with your knowledge of the 'F'-word and all the other swearing we've been gifted by reading your comments today. Yea, you know how to

  • should it be on fire like that?

  • @rostant999 Flame Grilled? Or Maybe a late cremation

  • looked fucking good on the inside tho

  • burned the steak hes to worried about not opening the lid instead of flipping the fucknig steak. but its not super burnd.

  • it's burnt :D:D ...

  • Yep, that shit flared up and burnt that steak. FAIL. This is why I use charcoal.

  • NIce crust my ass.. it is burnt to fuck

  • NY RILLATAA!!

  • burnt.

  • Burnt nuff said

  • Ich hasse Ostdeutsche

  • A nice crust, thats just burned and very black.

  • To everyone saying its burn't, it isn't its "charred" thats where that smokey flavor is in your steak

  • Τί λές βρε μάπα;το έκαψες το κρέας!Αμα ψήνουν έτσι στην Αμερική...κάηκαν!

  • It´s totally burned !!!

  • burnt!

  • This guy is a fucking jabroni. Searing does not keep flavors/juices inside. It actually loses them. It's basic fucking science.

  • @MansoorDorp basic science says that when a severe burn happens to muscle the tissue tightens, therefore holding in flavor

  • @Inv4derxXx ...What? By searing you lose so much water weight. And tissue tightening does not lead to "holding in flavor" No science book will tell you that.

  • @MansoorDorp uhhh yeah it does sear the tissue shut, i'm going to school for medical sciences, i have a very good grasp on burns, the only way you lose water weight from searing, is if the tissue is alive. dead tissue being seared is like heating plastic, it tightens and holds what ever is in it

  • Comment removed

  • @Inv4derxXx Medical Science =/= Food Science

  • @MansoorDorp medical science = food science, you are working with tissue, it reacts the same way as if it would act as if it were on a dead mammal, and if you want to get molecular with the water being lost, its just the H20 being lost, not the spices inside

  • @Inv4derxXx So cuts of beef now magical grow spices when you sear them? Right partner.

  • @MansoorDorp i guess you don't season your beef

  • What is he making? Beef jerky?

  • that dude fucked up that steak hahaha

  • Holy crapppolaahhh, it was burnt!!!!!.. Now, I believe everybody :) yayyy.

  • omg this guy is saying the Same things in all his videos

  • Dude burnt the steak on the first side. Right idea, wrong execution. Those you can do, those who can't teach. He is trying to teach. Wrong cut of meat description too.

  • @dwdesign charred steaks providing it is thick is the way to go. i love the charred taste with a medium rare inside. learn how to cook you noob ba cook

  • @dwdesign He said its important to sear. look up what sear means, jackass.

  • It was charred and it was a Strip steak, not a sirloin! dislike!

  • That looks gorgeous! Im getting hungry!

  • I go highest heat for 3 min a side, prefer a cast iron grill on a bbq, then I transfer it to the oven pre-heated to 300 for desired doneness. About 5 min in the oven for medium.

  • What a hack.... that steak is burnt to hell and back. I like my steaks rare and juicy, not tough and crunchy. He's an executive chef? Where? Burger King?

  • @springvalleykid

    No. Morton's, the Steakhouse.

  • as a 17 yr old chef... common sense would say the outside of the steak will go darker before the inside cooks through and he might have some herbs etc which could go dark... so its not bunt.... i dont cook steak where i work so im no expert....

  • That looks burned, ... doesnt that gives you cancer????

  • I thought this is a parody xD

  • I'm a cook at Wendy's and I approve of this video,

  • I really don't thinking that BAKING a steak is a good idea, I prefer to be able to keep my eyes on the meat as it cooks.

  • @IronJawJim that's what she said

  • hitman in chef suit......0_0

  • it looked burnt .

  • @donnieboy123 your face looks burnt xD, jk yeah i think yr kinda right there buddy :)

  • @donnieboy123 naaa mate that looked peng

  • @donnieboy123 It's utterly a matter of taste. I've had countless steaks cooked exactly like this one in the video and it was extremely delicious. Perfect amount of crunch and the juice flows the flavour.

  • @donnieboy123 no. thats how its suppose to look. its the inside that counts.

  • @royalstarfish17 I guess you're right, but I would have to scratch off the surface. I'm convinced it would produce black powder. I do agree with many here that I think it was a tad too much heat on the surface... in fact it could be still very raw inside... not well balanced heat penetration... or?

  • @donnieboy123

You don't what word burnt mean. Look at dicitionary. This is perfrect steak, you dick!

  • @Sokolatkor1 What's a 'dicitionary'? Can you spell? Nothing wrong with the word usage ' burnt'. LOL

  • @donnieboy123 It's not burnt, it's a normal steak.

  • Gosong tuh.

  • I thaught bright red wasn't great either? Aged steaks are dark brown, are they not?

  • @TheComment123 No, aged steaks are still bloody, strip is sirloin @ ardwulfslair , new york cut is also sirloin @ wirikuta, lol is not a full stop or period polzowatel, learn English before posting. The sirloin steak cooked here is of restaurant quality for medium rare grilled beef and 5/5 rating from me, another qualified chef. Those hayseed hill-billies cooking up road-kill who disagree, need to get out more.

  • @TheComment123 they should be almost purple in colour

  • sirloin? isn´t that a new york strip?

  • its burned lol

  • It's burnt on the outside and overdone inside. It's also not a sirlon steak, it's a strip steak.

  • That looks fucking good steak... I'm hungry

  • That steak was burnt.

  • @slauertura77 no burn. crust keeps the rest yummy

  • @slauertura77 Yes, the outside was, which adds a crusty flavor to the interior. When you combine that burned surface with the interior juicy part, you get a perfectly tasty steak. Much better than if you didn't burn the surface. Give it a try.

  • @christschool That black is carbon. It's not flavor. It's definitely overcharred on the one side.

  • omg ppl realize that burnt is when its a think black crust not a think crust that is black

  • That looks about right to me. Its not burned.

  • WTF That's burned !!! And he acts like it's perfectly done haaha.

Turn on BBQ Pit Boys people

  • Asshole

  • Fucking gross

  • Yeah nice crust, fuckin charcoal on the outside and in the inside is bloody red, poor beef's crying in heaven how this dickhead cooked it

  • What the fuck is that. no one wants to eat a fucking burnt steak

  • 90 people don't know shit about cooking

  • Comment removed

  • Iam eating sirloin steak right now....in a progressive soup.

  • thats how grill a burned to shit steak enjoy

  • haha he fucking burned it. That black is gross.

  • at least 5 to 600 degrees

:| pretty big margin dont u think?

  • @MasterA55a55in

C'mon man, be nice, you know he means 500 to 600.

    So basically 550 degrees.

  • @counterstryke more like 800 degrees! Look at that crispy shit. 1:25

  • @DrippinAcrylic

    True that looks burnt.

  • I'm not a chef and I find your steak to be burnt, but a little less burnt in the end shot.. weird..

  • Comment removed

  • That's how you cook a steak.

  • Used this video as a guide to grill my top sirloins and they came out just as I wanted them.

  • For those of you that don't want to guess, but still want a perfect steak.

    Season how you wish

Very hot grill..... just long enough to sear the outside...

Then quickly take the meat into a preheated 500 degree oven, (or move it away from the direct flame) put in an electronic meat thermometer, cook the meat to about 125 degrees. (for me) take it off and let it rest.

Plate the rest of your food..... then back on the FLAME for 30 seconds just to make it sizzle as you serve.

    Perfect & no guessing.

  • Wow ! thank you!

  • SOME char is good, but that first side got away from him and was a tad burnt. The middle was cooked fine though.

  • Closing the grill would create an oven effect wouldn't it? It wouldn't be grilling would it? I know they work with flame broil ovens at those fancy restaurants, so they can cook those steaks within minutes... Anyway, I think the steak is perfectly done...

  • Sorry, thats to black Chef. To much heat. Never would eat this.

  • i like my steak well done :P

this is no good for me. mine would b burnt to a crisp at that heat

  • Well if he calls burnt on the outside raw on the inside then Yes this is the perfect steak!

  • @dapletd You clearly have no clue on how to cook a good steak, this chef's tips are just correct and painless, and it's not burnt outside, nor raw inside. First of all, it looks red inside because he didn't let it rest so it would be quicker to film it. You just don't know how to cook.

  • @MyProlover whatever floats your boat.Thank you for now using language that it seems that so many use on the internet.

  • Comment removed

  • this is good

  • Sorry, but there should be no flames on your grill.

  • @dagnole never heard of flame grilled then.... noob

  • It looks like charcoal!

  • Is it weird that i got a boner?

  • very nice.

  • looks a lot like a new york to me

  • Not only a Great Chef - Great Steakhouse as well ! One of the Best !!

  • Wow! this looks great you should Watch Extreme Chef Airing tonight. I suggest you try and get on the show.

  • He is sexy

  • Tried it. Worked out great.

  • it's burnt. stop posting videos if you can't really cook.

better yet, stop pretending that you can cook

  • @archmichael04 seriously, you make some videos and put them up. and if you think thats burnt... thats the opposite of burnt.

  • Can you make me one?

  • IM SO GOD DAM HUNGRY NOW!!!!

  • delicious making me some fucking SIRLOIN MAWFUCKING STEAK IN THIS BITCH YOU FUCKIN HURRD?

  • you suck..

  • Burnt like a mofo!!

  • It's burnt. That is toxic.

  • you dont often see a steak this blackened (unless ordered this way) in an upscale steak restaurant?

  • @bkkbuk That's because they don't cook it on grills at upscale steak houses and it's not exposed to flame. Guess you've never been to one..

  • @jpluttme Are you joking? Or just stupid?

  • @jpluttme Guess your an asshole....EMS

  • i'm a chef and i think he was very educational...

  • @celticircle No, your not. Your just saying that 'cause your a thumbs up whore who wants thumbs up!

  • @celticircle Um, I've always been curious, back In school I was taught never to leave food in the 'danger area' (room-tempature-ish) for more then necessary, defiantly not 2 hours, yet he said to take it out for at LEAST 2 hours? Which is the more correct thing to do, and why?

  • @HARDCORESKELETORN That's wrong. I wouldn't leave it out UNCOVERED for a few hours, but if it's in the packaging, wrapped in plastic wrap or in a Ziploc bag, there won't be an issue. But don't leave it overnight or anything.

  • @celticircle If you needed to go on youtube to learn how to grill I'm curious as to what qualifications you need to call yourself a chef.

  • That shit got burn

  • hahahaahahah he burn this shit off hahaahah. WHAT A CHEF!

  • very good tutorial for how to burn meat

  • Comment removed

  • is this guy a joke, first he burnt the steak on the outside. Second yea he didn't let it rest, maybe that was for demonstration purposes, but still.

  • This is BURNT meat!

  • the steak looks good and fine to me a steak is a steak

  • When he flipped that steak he was like o_0

  • This guy is is still Commis Chef...Executive my ass. Whoever made him executive chef at the steakhouse needs his head examined.

  • two things, the steak is burnt, and he didnt let it rest! resting is the most important part!

  • @icgitar double that !!!

  • @mvallin As you can see from what I posted people are both complaining that the steak is both undercooked and overcooked, which makes little to no sense.
