What you say is untrue. Arabs have been interfering in African affairs since the times of their prophet, probably about a 1000 years before Europeans first arrived.

Hmmmm.....last I checked the African continent in the North has been Arabic for 1000 years before the Europeans arrived. Egyptian dynasties extended all the way into Sudan. European countries had a race to see who could capture more foriegn lands than anybody else, and Africa was huge in the British and French campaigns of the 18th and 19th Centuries.
