BY FAR, that largest welfare program in the US is CORPORATE WELFARE. Each year hundreds of billions of dollars are handed out to large corporations in the form of exemptions, deductions, incentives and free services. I worked for the sixth largest US corporation that paid NO TAX AT ALL in the large four out of five years they were in business. The tax department was a PROFIT CENTER. This began with REAGAN and continued with BUSH. Most of that goes to exec compensation and offshore accounts.

The capital gains tax cut is a huge tax cut for ONLY the rich. A recent report showed that the top 1% account for 50% of ALL capital gains. The MC don't have capital gains b/c they don't have extra money to throw into the stock market. Romney is just pushing the old failed GOP mantra that we need to give the rich more in order to help the MC.
