This is a real life story, the movie did justice to the facts. What is so sad though is that in our society we find less and less people that will do what this family did for Michael, we have become desensiticed to the human race real needs, to talk about the need to be loved and respected is becoming a thing of the past what a shame!

@donnieboyjohnson, Are you serious? This man's story has nothing to do with colour, and everything to do with what a child can achieve when he or she is supported by a loving family. Whether you like it or not, this boy was saved, and he has been able to achieve self-actualisation through the selflessness of that loving family. This could have been the case no matter what colour the family or the child was!

The tuohys are frauds. Its great for Michael Oher that these folks helped him out. But lets face facts, tuohys wanted a "ringer" for the team. I really liked this film. My cousin Robby also helped a young man like Michael Oher. The poor kid didn't have much and my Cousins son asked him to take his friend in. Ironically, Both Michael Oher and Terrance Cody the young man my cousin took in and put through college, both play for the Ravens. Terrance plays as a Nose Guard for the Ravens. Pretty cool indeed.
Even if you are a fan of a different team doesnt mean you should dislike this video AT ALL! The movie was hugely instpirational and Ms Tuohy is one hell of a woman. It has changed the was I think and I now believe that everyone has the power in them to change everyones life, even just by a small amount. A small change can lead to big things happening and kindness is now a virtue that I place above everything else. Ms Tuohy is one of my personal heros, along with the rest of her wonderful family.

i love this heartwarming story, i wish more ppl in the world had the same type of compassion for there fellow man as the tuohy family.
it doesn't matter where your from or your background, its what you make of it that matter's, whallow in it or rise and make something out of it.. love it!!!!

You see these kinds of stories and it shows you that a person's upbringing doesn't have to affect their life. The movie was hugely instpirational and Ms Tuohy is one hell of a woman. It has changed the was I think and I now believe that everyone has the power in them to change everyones life, even just by a small amount. A small change can lead to big things happening and kindness is now a virtue that I place above everything else. Ms Tuohy is one of my personal heros, along with the rest of her wonderful family.
