@tanha20 Yes such "similar" things happen in the US but in the US i dealt with by a court of law such as if a man perpetrates rape. In such countries as these a man will be acquitted under Islamic law and will not be dealt with accordingly as per the crime.
Religious law is a far cry Democratic law so you need to make the distinction.
