Oh yeah why's it that when Zeus steals the Blade of Olympus from Kratos he just takes it and hurls him to the ground but when Kratos steals it back he has to press O tons of times? I probably enjoyed seeing Zeus bleed way too much by the end of the game but hooooly fuck it was so satisfying to kill him at the end of Titan mode.

Has anyone ever wondered? Kratos is able to kill zeus as a mortal, but was not able to "kill" the Colossus when he was a God.... Where's the logic in that? :S

@HixXxXxiH, Zeus had drained most of Kratos' god powers and infused the Colossus with it. So Kratos wasn't anywhere near the height of his power when he fought it.

Still, it is truly strange... In GoW, Kratos needed the powers within Pandora's Box to kill Ares. In GoW2, he could fight Zeus evenly with his blades only. There, the only way to kill gods was the BoO.

Well, nevermind. It would be more interesting where the producers took their inspiration for Clotho... O_o

His blades would've been useless without the Blade of Olympus, which contained ALL of his godly power at that point. In Phase 1 of the Zeus fight, Kratos stabs him in the hand to drain enough of his power to force him into a "human-sized" fight. One could argue if he had a similar weapon against Ares in GoW instead of Pandora's box, the same thing would've happened.

As for Clotho....yeah I'd rather not see anything with that design again, much less in 720p.

So I think my problem I have with Zeus on titan mode is that my attacks don't so as much dmg to him as all these videos. What's the super secret way to get phase 1 to end with only 3 banshees? I need like 6-7. And I don't care if a spam max level CR and use half my RoT, he ain't giving up his circle prompt anywhere close to this quickly in phase 3.

Is it because my batteries are rechargeable? I bet if I use more powerful batteries Kratos will be able to draw from that power!

The reason Gods can die, including beings like the sisters of fate is because immortality just makes it so that you cannot die by natural means, like sickness or old age. This does not mean that they are invulnerable. There is a difference.

All together, whereas I beat the regular game in about a week (normal difficulty), Titan Mode took me two solid months the first time around. Being a "God" of course I plowed right through in like 2 hours.

The Charged Wind Blast from Typhon's Bane easily takes out Zeus' lightning orbs so you could instead use RotT for earlier phases or use it to destroy Zeus after the orbs are down...just something I realized when I was playing around with Typhon's Bane.

to do this you must have ass and luck ... and then you can reload the rage of the gods "embracing" the family so you can still use the magic.

I died 4 or 5 times on zeus. No help from a guide 2 defeat him or a video. But i was playing on normal and it took me like 45min. I think im going 2 try titan mode... on bonus play 2 make it easier :D

You don't need to play a game fanatically all the time to get good at it; you know the Genesis classic "Disney's Aladdin?" Got up every morning at 7 a.m. sharp, played it 30 minutes a day every school day before going to school, and after only a month I got really good. Even though its been years since I played it I know it so well I can do a speed run. Just play, have fun, and the skill comes of its own accord.

That is nothing, I'm better than this one. Maybe he is fast, but he was almost dead. I only use golden fleece and kronos' rage the first time, blades of chaos in the second one, again golden fleece and kronos' rage and finally rage of the titans. It takes a little more time but it is more efective.
