@rockangel7777 In the countries with spanish as first language, the reason that there is no difference between B and V, it's just because most of people don't have the right education, so when childrens learn to speak, they do it in a wrong way . Hope you can understand my english! :$

@rockangel7777 I don't speak spanish but some of my friends speak it fluently, that's why I know the V is pronounced as a B. But you're right, sometimes she pronounces the sound v. I think it depends where you are from, maybe in Colombia there is a difference between V and B. I'll ask to my friend, but what I'm sure is that you can always pronounce the V as a B, the spanish speakers will understand you ;)

@SabwinaOu yeah, it really makes no difference in spoken spanish if you pronounce V as B... I grew up in Argentina and they only teach the sound of each of them so that you learn to use the correct one when writting...

In general, everybody pronouces V as B, but then if somebody had some contact with a diffent language (such as English or Portuguese) where Vs are really pronouced, then that person might drag it to spanish...

Use B and you are set ;)

@SabwinaOu Well I do speak spanish you guys... and I'm from Colombia as well (living in NYC now...) so.. here's the deal... is very simple!!! in spanish (no matter the country) there's no difference on the pronunciation of the V or B as in english... so you can always pronounce both with the same sound either way V or B... it really doesn't matter... trust me... spanish is mi first language =)

@SabwinaOu IN COLOMBIA THERE IS NOT DISTINTION BETWEEN V AND B. V IS ALWAYS PROUNOUNCED B. IT IS THE SAME IN MOST OF THE SPANISH COUNTRIES. @rockangel7777 well the spanish way of pronouncing the "v" seems to be in between our "v" and "b", generally it would be more like our "b" but in a soft way leaning somewhat towards the "v".. when you listen to spoken spanish you understand better what i mean most of the time it sounds like "b" but sometimes youll hear the "v" through slightly.. it is really best if you want to learn the pronounciation to look for spanish news (like f.e. ana pastor is a famous spanish news presenter you can

In Spanish there isn´t difference between B and V. Sometimes we pronounce "V" as "B" or "B" as "V" because most of people cannot hear the difference.

@rockangel7777 Hi, I'm Mexican so I think I can solve your doubt. B is a sound pronounced with lips and V is a sound pronounced with teeth and the lower lip, and you're right, both are different. It's correct when you pronunce them different, but the most spanish speakers pronunce as B even it's V. Also, it depends on where it is spoken, in Mexico we pronune words a little different than Spain and Agentina or Colombia.
