Do you know how a person would go about doing a color photo,making photo Sepia, but alos adding color spot ? For example.... wedding photo thats color, but you want the entire photo to have a Sepia effect, but the flowers still remain in red. I cannot find any info on this .

i have a question. i just downloaded this program and i x'ed out of the little shortcut toolbar (the one that has "layers, etc on it) the one where you were showing how to add tabs. do you know how i can get this back?

@JLEONARDIS3 That always confused me...so what I did what I just added the tab "Layers" and whatever else you see to one tool bar. That seemed to work. If not, try opening some things in the "Windows" menu button up top. I may make a tutorial on this.

great video it was so easy to follow. I was wondering how to get the pictures you creat in gimp to another program? i dont have a printer at home so i have to take my pics somewhere to be printed and everytime i save it to my memory card it just shows a fox thing and not the picture. Thanks

make sure to save the pictures as .jpg as sometimes it will save as somthing like xsf, which means you can save your edit in the middle of editing and not as a final picture, if that doesnt work maybe you could upload the images to a image sharing site like image shack, then copy and paste the image links to a text file to put on your stick,

Ok, I think you must of forgotten to add the mask layer....check out 2:42. Basically when you add the mask you just make the top layer (black and white) invisible when you paint over it with the black paint tool. So it shows the colored layer instead. Tell me if this helps.
