I think that a soundcheck of this guitar would be useless

because there are already plenty of sound tests of this guitar around here :)

that is why I centered this video more on the surroundings

dude just go to your local guitar store and talk to someone

when i ordered my guitar they gave me a total new (cheaper) price.

the ... you know the prices from ibanez.at/de/com... they doesn't matter

the original price on the internet was 819€

i bought mine for 735€

also i think that the prices depends on the stores.

so i really recommend that you go to a music store and ask them :)

there are 2 pivots with a hexagon socket

if you turn them you can vary the height

but do it only if the strings are loose, because you can damage the knife edges easily!!

i took my whole bridge out before turning them ^^

looks like an excellent guitar. i want to get the standard 700 with 24 frets. but yeah you're right... the Edge III tremolo should not be on a 900 dollar guitar. an Edge Pro would have been MUCH more appropriate. i can understand an Edge III on an RG370 like my current guitar... but really... this is a neck-thru mahogany guitar with DiMarzio pickups... why the hell doesn't it have a quality bridge on it? i mean the edge iii does work, but it doesn't work well enough to justify this axe.

I just received my Xiphos 700XH-GSF today and I basically concur on most of your observations. My guitar's action came at about 1.55mm, out of box. My rear strap peg is approximately 105mm from the innermost edge of the long x-body extension (so I can also understand possibly having to adjust that peg -- though who likes drilling into their axe?) I am now letting my Xiphos acclimate for a day or two and see how things go.

Seems a nice instrument from Ibanez via Indonesia.

and it looks so damn epic ^^

to me it feels perfect so i would say i have a good experience :)

the only crap about this guitar is the edge III xD

cant believe it... so stupid...

but i think you can change that bridge to an edge pro (direct swap)

this is the strap from my old starter set (ibanez GSA)

maybe a raspy surface on the strap could fix that problem but in my opinion that has nothing to do with the balance of the guitar

es ist nicht selbst verständlich, dass man so einen koffer mitgeliefert bekommt, weist du, und er ist fast genau so wichtig wie die gitarre selber, da er sie vor allen möglichen äußeren einwirkungen schützen soll.

dieses video ist nicht auf kurz und knackig ausgelegt sondern auf ausführlichekeit.
