I remember this song and video so well. I urge all lovers of dance and pop music to check out LOVE CHILD, the album this single came from, on iTunes. For years, that site didn't have it, but it does now.

"If Wishes Came True" hit #1 -- deservedly -- on the Billboard Hot 100 the week ending Sept. 1, 1990, ending the four-week reign of Mariah Carey's first single "Vision of Love."

Other great songs on LC are the title track, Pleasure and Pain, and my favorite, the ballad He'll Never Know.

I remember I heard this song when i was 17 years old. I was flatting with these guys who were into punk rock music and they had mohawks and wore black gothic clothes!! However, whenever I played this song the guys would sit down and listen to it with me as I really loved it. Im now 37 and still get goose pumps with this song as it always reminds me of my younger days and the awesum guys I had lived with at that time.

This video is just so visually stunning! I thought so from day one in 1990; from the simple Motown-esque choreography to the lighting to the makeup to the post-production effects and editing. Just truly a first-rate effort. An absolutely beautiful piece of work!

Nope, My "If Wishes Came True" has the same loudness ass yours and the video quality is the same. YouTube just down grades it for faster streaming. But the good news is both our videos have louder sound quality than the, Most View Version of this video.

I'm going to check out the "Love Child" video and some others.

I was the first to watch this Video when it was at 0 views. And I was also going to add this song to my channel. Isn't that funny. There people still listening to the old songs like me. Well lately I have been listing to the mainstream pops and just going back to the good old 80's and 90's. Your video has better sound but my video quality might be better. We will See when I up load my version.
