I fought a Giant once (during the "A Night to Remember" quest. I defeated it while circling a fallen tree for half an hour (taking pot shots with arrows and magic), but not before the Giant hit my companion, Lydia, blasting her off like team rocket.

Lydia came back safe though... Im not sure if I wanted her to though.

sword and shield? thats a valid choice but, you guys are a dime a dozen! im a heavy armor, heavy weapns guy whos a great blacksmith. my first gameplay i was an arcane warior(sword in right hand spell in the left).

@bieberhater99: I go for "Jill of all trades, master of none." My characters have a habit of being very good at getting away from danger, as well as destroying all competition when cornered. (I never do heavy, two-handed weapons so that I can keep my left hand free for either a shield or a spell.)

@CyhAnide that seems like what i do. my first character is usually an "arcane warrior" a spell in 1 hand and a sword in the other. also, just as a tip for good loot. theres a giant camp near whiterun. you can agro a giant and lead him to the walls of whiterun and the gaurds will di the rest. p.s. i really enjoy your chell's mind videos. well anyways i wish you many septims in your journeys :)

2) I accidentally picked Imperial...though honestly it doesn't seem to matter yet, and the whole choice process was really confusing and sudden. I'll do Stormcloak the next time through...once I'm done with this run, of course.

@CyhAnide Thalmor are like... evil elves i guess there trying to dominate tamriel and outlaw warship of talos. in the great war they i guess "won" they outnumbered the empire and they the empire was forced to sign a treaty or knew that was the only way to live. so they did. Imperials work for empire which means they work for the thalmor. so really the imperial war ending would i guess be the bad war end
