Very nice. This song has now survived for over 7 decades. Ozzie used to play this song when he too had his own big band just like Harry James and Tommy Dorsey. Very nice rendition.

He will be always missed and loved for his pure vocals and his charisma. He was also one great guy.

For You was the first 45 that I ever bought...I saw Rick Nelson at the Tropicana in Atlantic City around 1985...he did sing "all the old songs" but that's not why I came-I really wanted to hear his new stuff...he had something that was just never promoted the way it should have been...this was very well done...I'm happy that he lives on

1985, that was the year he died, so it was one of his last appearances... it's good to hear from people with personal remembrances of him, thanks for sharing this :)
