Her words always formed strong pictures in one's mind's eye, and her often minimalist backing was an important part of the content, without ever obscuring the main point she was getting across. Great, timeless work. Also, but I might be wrong, she was girlfriend to the great Paul Weller, whose own work was/is in a similar vein.
