Wow! I love the 1930s! The music is great and I do try to transcribe theses pieces 'by-ear' whilst at the organ of a Super CInema near Manchester UK.

Good video and I liked the choice of music. It looks like his vacuum cleaner had a mind of its own.

Hi, I like your video and have rated it as awesome. Please check out my vid clip on some rare jazz musicians and dance band Leaders cigarette cards, issued in 1936. They include Ambrose, Cab Calloway, Duke Ellington and many more.

It certainly is the great Sam Brown, and dates from May 1930, this is among his first recordings with Ambrose.
Sam Browns voice is faultless and every word he sings is clearly heard. Wish I could sing like that! I just have to pretend.
This my favourite recording of the great Bert Ambrose Orchestra! "Eleven thirty saturday night" 1930 or 1931? Sam Browne is the vocalist?
