I don't understand it either. I'm assuming the 2007 Copa America in Venezuela, which was shown in England at the most inconvenient time, had something to do with it. The English commentator mentioned seeing the Mexican fans doing it there.

i went to the 2nd day of the emirates cup yesterday n we won the emirates cup - its such an amazing feeling to be in all of that - we done a mexican wave a few times wen i woz there, its wel cool - i love you arsenal to the day i die!!! EVERYONE SEARCH - emirates cup - hleb's goal
