With division, consider the variable x. If the x in the numerator has a larger exponent than the denominator, then the answer will involve x in the numerator with the difference.
If the x in the denominator has the larger exponent, then the answer will involve the x in the denominator with the difference.
ummm... what if the exponent is a negative... or if the power is a negative? cause my math teacher is all like dont make it a negative!!!
