i know this may sound weird but is the back of the disc purple? (side that reads) cuz ive seen some ps2 games and for some reason, the back of it is purple. Is it cuz its old, transported from another system or what? either way, my ps2 played it really loud and wondered why.i want to get this game but im not sure about it cuz it came around 2000 didnt it? i dont trust games that are that old cuz they normally break down. your thoughts?

umm i dont think so. i have really old games like resident evil code v it dosnet break down it still play really good. So no im sure it wont mess up im not sure if it have purple side cus i dont have it yet..

It's just called Hard Core because they promised to make Dead or Alive 2 just for the Dream Cast(???) but after some days it came out for Ps2 just with another name!

no, they named it Hardcore because they added more stuff to it.

and DOA2 Ultimate on the Xbox adds even MORE to the game...

but DOA2Hardcore was the only one with english dubbing.

actually, in germany, I just got DoA 2 for the PS2 and it still got called only "DOA 2 - Dead Or Alive 2" although the disc I have is Platinum version ..

It's not a matter of hate, but where he would find more profit. Not to mention, since the 360 is so easy to program for, they aren't held back constantly and trying to strive and meet deadlines. In other words, if he's going to keep making more of these games, he's going to need money. You go where the money is, the product can live on. So it's nothing personal, strictly business :)
