Very good video. I am 23 and I have been a Dickens scholar and enthusiast for about 20 years!
Charles Dickens is more than a writer, he deeply ingrains his works and scenes and themes into your brain. I would say that Dickens is one of the biggest influences in my life and always will be.
i love charles dickens so ill give my own salute to him. LONG LIVE CHARLES DICKENS. Heil Charles! Heil Charles! Charles Dickens will rule the world with an iron hand. You Fuck With Charles Dickens YOU FUCKING WITH EVERYONE.
Been always a reader of his great classics from years. Oliver Twist, Christmas Carol, Hard times, A Tale of Two Cities and Great expectations. But when I have now finished David Copperfield, I have realized that it was his autobiography in a pseudonym.
I was given The Complete Oxford Illustrated Dickens for a Christmas present back in 1987, it was only recently that I really started getting into Victorian literature and Charles Dickens in particular.
I've been going through his stories in chronological order starting with Sketches by Boz and have only now just started David Copperfield.
There is this really cool book for the Kindle called "In Jail With Charles Dickens" on Amazon. it really does a great job explaining about Mr. Dickens from another point of view. I was totally shocked how agreat it was. I just finished the book. Charles Dickens was awesome!
5025684562267 bar code: A Dickens of a Christmas. Two DVD's London life during His life in London obviously, and a second a documented account of his book A Christmas Carlol. I absolutely love Mr Dickens thank you for posting this amazing video keep the faith
When reading David Copperfield, I found myself slowing the pace at which I read the nearer I came to the tale's ending; wanting to savour every page, every passage, every word, not wanting the curtain on the life of such a remarkable character ever to be drawn.
@TSM8088 Copperfield is my fave Dickens novel and even though i have read it several times, i have felt like that each reading. Dickens was a genius, an activist and a man of great comapssion..
