OMG!!!! I just found this!!! I grew up with his music. He's in the lines of kenny loggins, tim weisburg, omg the talent he possessed...part of the plan, missing you, power of gold.....etc, etc, etc....so freaking intelligent---genious!! He will be missed so much and now i have just GOT to hear rythym of the rain! Peace to all friends of Dan. God bless dan and rest in peace.

Thanks for posting this. He died on the same day with Nicolette Larson, Dec.16. Ever On concert must be held like Lotta Love Concert.

Yes, it's true. Nicolette passed away, on Dec.16, 1997. Ten years before Dan's death.

Longtime Dan's friend, Irving Azoff gathered many artists and tribute "Lotta Love Concert" was held in 1998. Live cd was released in 2006, it's great, great tribute live album. Dan played for her "Part Of The Plan".

Crosby, Stills & Nash, Carole King, Linda Ronstadt, Dan Fogelberg, Jackson Browne, Bonnie Raitt with Little Feat, Joe Walsh, The Section, Jimmy Buffett and Michael Ruff.

Dan will forever be remembered and missed.

Thanks for this remembrance. I had the opportunity to see Dan several times while I was living in Colorado and appreciate the gifts he gave to us all. Sad, yet ironic that my two most favorite songwriters, Dan Fogelberg and Suart Adamson of Big Country, passed on the same day, albeit different years. Thanks for the great music, it'll never be the same without you both.

Thank you for this posting. Wasn't he a cutie in high school? However, the news anchor was wrong when she said one musical voice was silenced; Dan's voice will never be silenced because of his legacy of magical music! Bless you, Dan, we miss you so!
