There's a difference between losing 5-1 in a game that sweden never lead and was thoroughly outplayed. Yet, this year, you had a 3-0 lead and had all the momentum on your side. Go to all the canadian blogs and media outlets like TSN and you will see them labeling it as a shocking comeback. Even the arena was dead silent. It takes a special fuck up for a 3-0 lead to lead to 5 unanswered goals in less than 20 minutes. Canada looked like they snorted a line in between periods.

They not only won a period, but they also won the gold medal to deny Canada in back to back years. Pretty embarassing to lose first to the americans and then lose iin this fashion to the russians who were written off after losing 6-3 in the opener. Oh and you can quit with the all time record since other countries back then never took hockey very seriously. Every other nation other than Canada has a major sport than hockey.
