  • Is Sonar LE Cakewalk a good program for recording music?

  • @TylerDehan Very good...I've used it for over 10 years for professional music production and it is excellent.

  • Sonar

  • wITH WHICH PROGRAM DO U RECORD?!

  • @JGBeatzzz Soar X1, although Sonar 8 is great...X1 just has some new bells and whistles.

  • What about latency when youre on a PC with this mic?

  • @Elsgarden Gotta use a G Track or similar mic for no latency recording for singing to a track and hearing yourself at the same time

  • @Elsgarden Gotta use a G Track to monitor what you're singing.

  • Do you know how to record with this mic (Samson G Track USB) in Stereo-sound at Audacity? It works fine in a few programs with Windows XP in stereo already, but I can't get it stereo in Audacity.. :( Please help me!

  • @JesperMovies You aren't really recording in stereo, you're just recording the mono

signal on both sides and making a file with the same signal on both sides...that said, just above the time line, to the bottom right of the record button, there is a drop down menu to select stereo of mono record, then, you click the record button and a track opens and starts recording.

  • It's only 150? That's amazing! And if I buy this on the BuyProSound website, will this stand in the video come included as well? Thanks for answering!

  • @kizzy75 the stand comes with it, but the shock mount is an extra $29...the shock mount isn't necessary to get a good quality vocal though...

  • @kizzy75 Yes, the stand and the software come with it.

  • Im gettin one this weekend should i get the pop filter with it since im onna be using it for hip hop recordings ?

  • @MegaComedy777

    Wouldn't hurt

  • Hey I am a rapper and I want to record songs with beats and put them on youtube will this be a good MIC for me and any other rapper who has the same question??????

  • @ThatWhiteRapperLilPJ Hey...it kinda depends on how much you want to spend. You can use the Samson G-track and it will work fine, because you can hear your voice as you rap and hear the track all in your phones. If you want to spend more money, you could get a mic and a computer interface. There are a lot of them out there to chose from, but it's gonna be more like $300 or so to go that way, as opposed to about $150 fro the G-Track.

  • @ThatWhiteRapperLilPJ One more thought...get a G-Track, use it until you want to upgrade, sell it on Ebay, and move up a little. That's what I always did.

  • wow so wrong. There are 3 usb mics with those nobs.

  • @aaron4801 Sorry, I meant it was the 1st.

  • this is THE MOST FLAWLESS REVIEW of this G-Track mic i have seen thus far!!....you covered every aspect of this mic to the Tee!!

  • How do you get the vocals in both channels? I got this mic today and I am disappointed about it only recording in one side, vocals on left line input on right. It doesn't make much sense to me. Using iMovie.

  • Can you listen to it live when the headphones are plugged in?

  • hey ima rapper and i wanna know that is this mic gud for recording rap songs ?:)

  • I have a question too, I want to buy a boom stand for this microphone. Is this possible? For example, is the MK5 from Samson good for this microphone? Or doesn't it fit?

  • Forest Gummppp Haha (: Yeah great mic, orded today with pop screen and stand and shock mount. Should be interesting to see how good the quality is.

  • hey i try to record and when i record the left channel has more vocal that the right

  • @EMBYTIAN - you need to put it in "mono". you have it on stereo

  • the shock mounts are easy to make with just a little ingenuity! really not that hard. nor are the anti pop screens although the pop screens are much cheaper. i'm producing my first stopmotion so i'm considering this mic for the audio recording.

  • uhmm i have this mic and when i try to make a song it comes off timing why?

  • does any one knw why this item will not recrd vocals on both speakers and or head phone.

  • so you cant put a stereo line in into the mic and have the microphone working?!?!?! i want to be able to send my backing tracks (stereo) while i talk/sing

  • @netherealm2 yes

  • @netherealm2 You could just record the stereo line, and then play it back from your computer, while recording your vocals.

  • Is the spider mount in the box as well?

  • no, sorry..it's an option that's an extra $29

It comes with a small desk type mic stand

    Thanks...

  • @cdig2000 how much is the complete bundle cost and what type of payment do you accept?
