I've been an LnL fan since I was like 13. And in the end they really belong together bc they really could never be any better with anyone else... but, I really felt Laura when she told Luke, "I'm gonna try not to need you this time." She needs a lil time away to grow even stronger on her own. And then of course come back to port Charles fabulously clothed in Parisian fashions looking breathtaking, making Luke drool and causing Tracy to cry. LOL! That's the reunion I wanna see.

How times have changed since I last watched this vid almost a year ago. Genie is now on Young and The Restless adn Guza has written Luke as a drunken loser sleeping with prostitues. Guza has ruined GH but at least he is fired now. It's probably too late for Luke and Laura's love story. Guza did so much damage to their legacy. Luke and Laura will always live in the hearts of their fans and I'm glad Genie has a great job on Y & R.

I LOVE LNL!! Such a sweet but sad scene. I can just see the obvious adoration that exists between Genie and Tony, I miss Laura. Rumors are circulating she's returning, so maybe we'll see a continuation to this after all....I certainly hope so.

I have this strange feeling that she would come back to the show in near future, because the fact that they did not kill her and made her go to france with scooty makes me wonder if they want her back with a very different story like. A new laura is in the making maybe, they want to wait for the right time, maybe when their ratings are really down or when they are done with this latest Brenda came back to port charles story line. Because lately we got to know luke isn't really married to tracy.

What tremendous scenes!!!! Was this truly the last ep w/Genie? You could almost see it her eyes that it was....The writers sure kept the cliff hanger up with her not truly answering Luke's question about would she come back if the treatment worked...Makes you wonder if Genie would want to come back after it seemed she had some good closure moments...Then seeing Scotty on the plane made me say "NO WAY!"

I hope Genie is on her way bavk. There is one line in this clip that I don't get. she says that she is glad Luke is so peaceful now. I didn't get that--He drank contstantly and was soured on life, hanging out in Mexico getting drunk in a bar, Laura didnt' know that though. Little did Laura know that Tracey couldn't do anything with Luke. He was forever leaving he to go off on some TRIP.

Luke and Laura still have the chemistry. The scenes of their goodbye were so sad and yet remarkable, they still have it something you don't see with him and Tracy. I don't feel the connection with him and Tracy. Luke and Laura have had it since the beginning and still do today. I can't believe he didn't run after her. I was hoping when she turned around on the plane that Luke would be standing there not Scott. Please bring her back to Luke!!!!!

This may be a minority opinion here, but... I was never a Luke & Laura "fan". I've watched since the late 70's. Laura's first love was Scotty. Laura correctly stated in an earlier episode that Luke turned Scotty into the villain. I could never get over Laura marrying the man that raped her - it just tainted my viewing of the relationship. GF & AG came and went on GH - so of the 25 years they were "married", they were really only together for about 15 of them. Tracy suits who Luke is now.

Read on Soap Digest website, in an interview with Guza, that they did enough taping with Genie F. in October to last well into the winter and that the L&L story is important. So, maybe she'll be back on sooner than everyone thinks.
