When you're on Phaaze you enter permanant Hypermode until Dark Samus & the Aurora Unit 313 are dead. You can't access your gunship until you defeat the two of them.

i think you can. it is possible to freeze his face and even gets some shots in. but good luck with that, it's hard to get the missle to hit his face.

I was stuck on this one for half an hour with my parents watching and my hand cramping. You have to destroy the red balls. When a ball is destroyed, it leaves a socket open. Destroy the socket in Hypermode. There are 4 sockets, 3 on his front and one on his back. The balls change position so look out for which one you are trying to destroy. Destroy the socket quickly as he tries to replace the lost ball. Destroy the extra balls before he grabs hold of them.

you misunderstood me, i shot both balls in hypermode difficulty, not in easy mode and for 1 summoned ball it takes about 3 charged shots to destroy them

actually you can destroy both orbs on hypermode. the thing is not to shoot single shots at the orbs, just use your charge beam and fire a charged shot at the orb. after 3 hits they are destroyed and theres enough time to shoot 6 charged shots. also it's possible to destroy the "hole" in one try, do it also with a charged shot in hypoermode. did it on hypermode right now, took me about 7-8 minutes, thanks to charge beam :)

i don't know if you said this in the video but i realized that it shows you where each orb is going. Look for that green stuff that like circls around his chest. that made it a lot easier to know which orb i was shooting at and not lose it.

nice vid, but u dont have to shoot his balls in hypermode, u can just shoot them normally, but u need to go into hypermode to shoot the cores, after u destroy the orbs

i just killed this guy yesterday oh hyper mode and i hated it took me an hour and 30 minutes to kill him and by that i mean i did not die for an hour and 30 minutes every time he hit me i destroy an orb and get life and the part at 3:47 where he trys to restore the orbs back into his body i could not fricken destroy them fast enough to stop them my hand was so tired that every 5 minutes i had to switch the the fire button from a to b and then b to a over and over and over again

I figured out how to tell which way the orbs move on his body. When he laughs, you know that green $#!% that appears in front of him? Watch which way the stuff roates. You can then predict which orb to lock on to. This should make for a much easier (& quicker) battle.

Corrupt Hypermode is a great way to use  some more Phazon and blast Mogenar like crazy.

I suggest corrupting your hypermode so you have a longer stream of phazon coming out. Just use a charge shot and it gets corrupted ;) only the auto vent can stop an endless stream of it.

I'm not sure if it will work well on Hypermode difficulty, but I've seen ppl (and tried it) go into hypermode and wait until the Phazon overload; then use the extra time in hypermode to focus on 1 orb at a time. Just a tip. ; D

My stratergy was to try and get both of his ball things into the white shinny state at once. Then when the little ball things come destroy one completly so you still have on ball thats shinny and then defete him. Much easier.
