  • I would love to hear this full LP, this is some super funky stuff and it has Denny Carmassi on drums, probably one of the most underrated drummers ever, but hats off to Linda Tillery for this one, I have got to hear this whole LP!

  • Where oh where can I download/ find a copy of this song? Anyone found it?

  • can somebody please send me this song, i would do anything for it!

  • @TheSinghFIRE i can send u this

  • @KINGDRE614 man if you could i would really appreciate it. I don't really like ripping from youtube because the quality isn't all tht. ]but if you can send me it man, it would be real dope.

  • Ohhh and this now makes sense. On Big Brother's "Live at Winterland" Joplin tells the audience they have to stay to see The Loading Zone, cause that "chick is outta sight." hah She definitely is; glad to have discovered this for myself.

  • She started out with 'The Loading Zone..

  • Nice...

  • begining at 1:50 it sounds like that was sampled in "the choice is yours" by blacksheep

  • "uhhhhh, come on!", "uhhhhh, come on!"....

  • it was

  • @lusciouslady73 good observation...it actually was used in the choice is yours by blacksheep ... kudos humди

  • @lusciouslady73 - you're right. blacksheep did sample that....time to get linda paid!! lol..

  • @lusciouslady73 Yep, but the sample came later in the song..

  • this sounds like it could've been on one of the james brown's funky people cds. never heard this tune, but i like it. thanks for posting.

  • FINALLY WOMEN TO LOOK UP TOO... seriously, i'm 21 and the female singers now a days (in my opinion) have taught me NOTHING in regards to being a strong, vivacious and independent woman!

  • You ain't looking hard enough. LOL

  • Is this Linda Lewis?

  • No, it's Linda Tillery; check out the "more info" link to the right...

  • Nice work by Columbia A&R/producer/organist

Al Kooper. One of his 1970 sleeper projects

for the label, & great stuff.

  • Dude, that doesn't even make fucking sense. Feminism is based more upon the idea of individual rights rather than a system not influenced by feminism.

Anyway, great video, great song, great message.

  • Heyyy! I didn't see your comment at first. Don't even need to point out his flawed assumption, which kinda destroys his whole point. Besides... kind of seems like he's being a lil tyrannical himself. Sad sad sad.

    And yesss! Great song/video.

  • This is so cool.

  • Love it ,new to me ,Thanks 4 ur time .love

  • This is also the sample that was used in the classic Hip Hop joint BLACK SHEEP'S THE CHOICE IS YOURS. One other fact is that Sweet Linda Divine was once married to R&B crooner Glenn Jones.

  • Yeah, I immediately recognized the "uh, c'mon" from the Black Sheep song.

  • revolution NOW!burn these mothers down.

  • One of my favorite songs. Great work.

  • awesome video!!!!!!!!!!

    thank u for posting

  • thats great!Im totally overwhelmed by this voice-and,by the way-I adore powerwomen

  • My great grandmother and grandmother marched in those suffragette parades in NYC. My mother was with them in her baby carriage.

    ...and we're still fighting.

  • That is so cool to be able to look a recognise your grandmother. HOW COOL IS THAT?!?!

  • I never lived that time and i miss it! I think we need a Women Revolution to make everyone equaly the same, cause we are but there's still too many people who has another values, sometimes deep inside. Laws are not enough to change it. As a woman I try to keep those true ideas in my mind without caring about what does the rest of the society, but sometimes it's very difficult.

    Anyway, Good song! :)

  • You're right; the real revolution is in the mind and the heart. It's like seeds that grow. If we share enough good ideas, the human race grows better.

  • 03:12 a democratic movement for women in Valencia. The girl is shouting Freedom in catalan. Here in Catalonia, and well, in the whole country was a big feeling in late seventies, after the Dictator Franco died in 75..... our society was nule before....

but i don't know were those revolutionary feelings for a better world have gone....

  • good video of a historical debate

  • What a great song.
