@XSToSa Writer and Director of this Machinima here! I am aware of the quest giver you are referring to, although his name is Lucien. There is actually zero inspiration with him and the reward "Penelope's Rose", although it is almost spot on with the names. Lucieus Grayson and Penelope were 100% original characters of mine, with no inspiration from Scholomance. Good catch on the names though. I had entirely overlooked that.

@Evision5 The Forsaken torture, kill, and without remorse experiment on the living. To say their actions are not evil is to ignore what evil is. Evil in wow terms is mocking life, killing civilians, torturing the innocent think of the Scarlet Crusade. Think of think of the brutality and lack of remorse so many within the upper echelons of the Scourge treated the living. The moral grey area you like to imagine is divorced from the reality the game presents even Garrosh acknowledges it.

Thrall took them, even being the monstrosities they are, Garrosh might be an asshole to them but that he hasn't eradicated them yet means he obviously respects them, I have encountered many points in quests where its apparent their old families still care about them. I think Sylvanas is the cause of this, and she's actually a terrible leader. Elect Faranell!
There is so much to the story of the Forsaken. Remember when Forteski saved you from being blown to bits in the deep elem mine by giving his own life? Remember in Fenris isle when Agatha flew you right out of a pack of bloodthristy Worgen? Remember when Godfrey shot Sylvanas in the back and her Val'Kyr gave their lives to ressurect her? The Forsaken are an ungodly race, true, but their story are without a doubt the most epic in the game.
@Luxai Nah, the orcs have the deepest and most detailed story imo. The hardship, betrayal, struggle, and freedom they had to win back as an entire race in such a short time span is unparalleled.
@InnerSentry well you also have to take into account that the orcs story goes way back to the first warcraft gamr, so they have had som much more time to develop it, and since they have exsisted for longer, ofc there is gonna be more to it,,, but i'll say i like both races stories alot :P
This machinema should have had first place - perfect storyline, perfect lore, perfect background music and great voice actors. I play on a Role Playing realm and this video made me make a forsaken with this background - so amazing.

Unbelievable work. mind blowing. I cant believe it's taken me this long to find this. While im a huge fan of Redeye, I also think some credit is due to the writer/director and music composer of this video. music fit purfectly with the video and added to emotion of it. and the story itself was epic. redeyes visuals and the music make it so awesome, and with the awesome story by the writer, they had a perfect trinity. I hope they make more. best work i've seen in a while.

forsaken rogue /salutes redeye. always been a big fan always will be. Lovfed this, i think it deserves 1st because the story is so much more original and the editing is better.. but the other ones good too dont get me wrong. peace.
