yeah, in hind sight, how many demons that inuyasha and co have met, would actually be affected by that salt throwing test site? Honestly, when compared to guys like naraku of his hellspawn, or even koga for that matter, any demon weak ennnough to be caught by a bunch of starving vllagers, tied up against their will and who would scream out in seething agony after having some 'ceremonial' salt sprayed on them would be so weak by the show's standards that they really wouldn't be a threat anyways
