A panchari melam performance could be described as a layered pyramid; each of the five layers (kalam) is characterised by a specific tala (rhythm cycle) called talavattam, which is repeated according to the total time-frame of the performance. Each of the five kalam consists of a certain number of beats (akshara), these are 96, 48, 24, 12, and 6 respectively.
no thayambaka and panchvadyam are different from this. This is called chendamelam. no doubt in thayambaka too they use chenda but the notes are different
There is no such thing as "Chendamelam". This is "Panchari Melam". The other popluar Melams using Chenda are "Pandi Melam, Chembda Melam, and Dhruvam Melam"
plz add kalppathi balakrishnan's thayambaka in koduthirappulli navarathri mahotsavam.................

Do they folow the same improvisation pattern as Thayambaka or Panchavadyam? The same nature and flavor?

The improvisation is totally different. Panchari Melam is the Mother of all melams, everything that is chenda based is derived from Panchari.
