You need to read up on your UN resolutions. 242 makes no mention of the words Occupation, Crimes, or even Palestine. The British Colony of Palestine no longer existed in 1967.

I beg to differ. Many UN resolutions are no longer relevant. For instance resolution 241 and 238 both passed within months of 242. Resolution 241 regarding mercenaries in Congo and 238 regarding peace keeping forces in Cyprus are no longer relevant. If you argue that all UN resolutions must always be enforced then Cyprus requires permanent peace keeping forces. That would be asinine.

marc, UNSC 238 is egypt-Israel specific and has been fullfilled.
UNSC resolutions are at minimum either Chapter VI or Chapter VII. It's not the letter of the international law but the spirit of the law- UN Charter Principles (chapter one) and purpose, e.g, modalties (all other chapters).

The Partition Plan (181) is completely irrelevant when it was flatly rejected by all the Arabs, none being a Palestinian State. Fifty years later, Arafat decided to embrace the portions of it that he favored. Both resolutions the Jews consistently agreed to, and the Arabs consistently rejected. You are very mistaken, 242 does not in any way justify arab terrorist acts. There is no statement in 242 that claims that Jews living in any territories can be considered "aggression". The goal of 242 was a peace agreement where arabs would stop attacking Jews and the Jews would return land conquered in 67 to Jordan and Egypt. 242 makes no mention of Palestinians or Palestine. Finally what does the Hezbollah attacks on Israel have to do with 242, they live in Lebanon.
