  • lol looks like shit... get yourself x3 terrain conflict

  • @Morr1992<---Ignorant, how the fuck somebody can call game 11years old shit, are You retarted?

  • there are hot keys for adjusting the energy levels.

  • i played this game when it was new at a friends but i could never afford to buy it , i just got it off Amazon.com in the original case still factory sealed for 3dollars and 4dollars S&H

its beter then i remember it.

  • Space Taxi

  • is it like freelancer?

  • Man i got the First game but the thing is that once it successfully installed and once i click on the program to run it, Loads up and.... nothing happened and idk whats goin on do u think you can help me?

  • Is this a space combat game like Freespace in which you have missions or a trading and exploration game like the X series where there is a large persistent world?

  • @shadow15555555555 a little bit of both..but closer to freespace I think.. u don't really control a trading ship here.. u are the pirate and u call a friend to loot the cargo pods.

  • Freelancer or Independence War 2?

  • @Specteryo I'd get Freelancer bro. 10 times. Just being honest here and not a biased fanboy.

  • I played this game when I was 9 years old all the way till I was 14(when my sister broke the disk) I never did buy it again, but I always have a sense of yearning specifically for this game. Now I've played fantasy mmos, eve online.. nothing compares.. If they could have somehow intertwined this game with the basic multiplayer experience of some basic MMO's this would be the ultimate game. I miss Particle n Infograms.. I want My Antimatter PBC back.

  • does this work on Windows 7?

  • @wowsweetness12 yes it works on windows 7 but you'll have to make it compatible to it. after installation, right click on the icon, go to properties then compatibility and select "windows XP service pack 3".

  • I <3 THIS GAME!! It sucks that it isn't that popular :(, one of the most underrated space games I've ever played.

  • It looks like your flying through a vast plane of uncooked spaghetti :)

  • One of the best games I've ever played.

  • i'm trying to find some game that is good as freelancer but nothing is near it

  • @nevonja Freelancer was just some kind of "space for newbies", at least i hated it for the controls and well everything in that game just looked ugly. there are alot of games better than freelancer, both Freespace Games if you want dogfights and both I-War Games if you want realism, just to name a few.

  • Comment removed

  • @FoxDF i checked out that game

and i thing it didn't come out yet

  • @nevonja its released in Europe and in beta stage in the USA.

  • I wish some one would actually give a serious attempt at re-creating a game like this and improving uppon it. Seriously.

  • I have yet to find a game that comes anywhere the realism of space simultaion than this game. It was so smooth also and didn't require hoards of resources to run. I did use a joystick and it was the best. I totaly recomend using a joystick with this game. I just miss not having other games out there like it. The closest I could find was X3 or Evochron Legends. X3 is not realistic space like ID war is. Evochron was nice being able to land on planets but still didn't feel quite the same.

  • Can someone maybe help me with a technical issue? I have windows 7 and I cannot hear clays voice in the game.

  • There is a such a lack of decent space games on the market and FAR TOO MANY SHOOTERS!!

  • @ododidit Yes! Totally agree

  • Beautiful, but HOMEPLANET better.

  • @deathzero34 Tried that. Ultimately, and unforgivably for a prologue level, their lasers do too much damage and it's impossible to avoidgetting hit many times in a row. If you get hit once, you get hit a lot before eventually dodging.

  • @deathzero34 I'm referring to the 'guided tour' you go on after the ring training. The first stop you go to, someone says hi, and then eventually two English-accented pirates demand you give up your cargo. Then the computer guy tell you to "show them what you got", about 3 seconds before they blow you up...

  • @deathzero34 coolt :D thx for info :)

  • Huh, i havent played this since it came out, if i remember correctly i got stuck somewhere due to a bug and couldnt finish the game, played through it a couple times and kept getting stuck at the same spot. might have to give this another go i really enjoyed this when i did play it lol. to all you haters, go back to your xbox

  • after you finish the campaign can you just fly around and do missions ... so is this game is an open ened one?

  • Disappointed with this game. When a space game doesn't use the mouse, doesn't have a proper save system, and the training mission involves dying a lot and playing the same couple of minutes over and over, that does not bode well.

Difficulty can kill a game. This is one of those occasions.

  • @Oscy if you dont wish to die i can upload your resources map in instalation folder to make your ship do hell out of stations if necesarry! but that would make game not interesting at all!

  • @fujimoto1984 If you're saying you can make my ship really strong, or even invincible, I'd give it a go! Assuming I haven't sold the game by then!

  • @Oscy extract resources file right there, select all files within to be modified, so not reading only, then find subsims folder ( i forgot a bit already) actually there is the source of all ships hitpoints, as well weapons strenght, and also buy some sniper cannons, you can modify them to have 9999 amunition and change gardo pod holds ... i advice you to mod the game, future trader, uni gui, and that stuff!

  • It's like you really went out of your way to make the game look as absolutely boring as possible.

  • @SwiftAndShure i finished the game 3 times without joystick.. i manually changed the controls.ini file when the demo was out. I can't play this game with the joystick (i tried) I made a key combination so good i could fly in all axes and use all the other ship systems without the need to lift my hands from the keyboard. took me half a day to do that.. now there is a program that helps u remap the controls. u only need to give it a little effort.

  • @maxxdamage01 Hey man, can you help me to configure controls, could you send copy of your configurations in diskription, or to personal massage

  • @SwiftAndShure They can be adjusted via ini file. I'm using two josyticks along with pedals for controls. Excluding the independence war 1 it is the hardest game i've played.

  • @SwiftAndShure They can be adjusted via ini file. I'm using two josyticks along with pedals for controls. Excluding the independence war 1 it is the hardest game i've played... And months full of fun :)

  • @SwiftAndShure

    Wow, you're an idiot.

  • @SwiftAndShure I think the default controls didn't play nice with the mouse.

After setting up mouse look, it worked out just fine. (There's a patch or something, I recall)

Favorite space game for a long time =)

  • @SwiftAndShure man that game was awesome, controls ... not yust ASDW but also 4862 for rotating,... and lots of other buttons, ... the best ship was advanced patcom to control!, when multiple missiles were aproaching you sent ldsi rocket somwhere near and missiles were destroyed ... lots of fun, try it again!

  • @SwiftAndShure I agree, this game is shit. First of all, despite all the nice graphics and bells and whistles, I didn't know what the fuck I was doing half the time. The missions were not clear, some were broken (scripting problem?) and the whole recycling station the materials for making widgets...huh WTF? why not just a simple JUST SELL THE SHIT IN THE STORE/BUY BETTER SHIT model like every other game on the market. Can't even travel to other systems due to some weird story whatever shit.

  • @myster1234 Additionally, the interface was atrocious. Fucking geniuses programmed the game. Fucking retards designed the game which is why it bombed. Maybe they should have played space-sims to get an idea of what WORKS in the genre. Instead, its like they were designing puzzle games for the gay porn industry and someone said "Hey, we made all this cool graphics engine, and will give you money to design the gameplay and how it all works!"

  • @SwiftAndShure U need a Joystick to properly fly a plane man...

  • This game was sooooo amazing....just one problem.....it`s too short... I mean...it should have lasted foreveeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeer ^^

  • @DarthYryn i had the same feeling when I finished the game (the 3rd time).. better graphics and never-ending story is what we want :D You should try reading a book ''The Meeting by Duncan Day'' it's about this game.. it's not very long but it's good :)

  • @maxxdamage01 You really want better graphics? This game looks absolutely faultless to me even by today's standards. You can only see imperfections if you come very very close to objects. And, btw. you should change the description because it was released in 2001, not 2002.

  • @sspope

WORD. On a 19 inch (or larger) LCD screen this game looks SO damn beautiful. It's such a treat.

It's a game that can actually make you dream ... because in real life we'll never get the chance to fly to faraway galaxies and to be pirates there. That's why it's so much fun IMHO to do it on the screen.

  • seems like an awsome game i've missed out... i will give it a try shortly... one question though, the music in this video is from in-game? or not? could i have an ID for this music plz? thnx

  • @Xloub yes it's ingame music.. search youtube for : Independence War II Soundtrack and u will find all of them.. Independence War II Soundtrack - Theme A1 is the one u are hearing now. Independence War II Soundtrack - Base Ambient 2 is my favorite! :D

  • For as realistic as the game is made out to be, there is no trichording which makes me question whether the fundamentals of 6 Degrees of Freedom still apply. This game is nothing without 6DoF and Trichording. Show me some trichording, then you have a real space game.

  • @Memory7hief Trichording is possible in I-War, but you wont notice it that much as in other games were ships have speed limits, you will notice an increase in acceleration as more thrusters are working at the same time, but since the main thrusters outpower the side, upper, lower and manauevering thrusters by 3to1 in I-War2 it isnt that much. Still its a oftern used tactic by veteran, both in singelplayer an multiplayer. best ship for this is the tachyon class patcom or storm petrel interceptor.

  • @FoxDF Good deal, as long as it's possible, I didn't see much of it at all in this video, but maybe i'm expecting too much out of people...

  • @Memory7hief Not many people are aware of this, so yeah, you see it quiet rare unles its written down on some cheat guide as for decent3

  • how are you moving your ship freely in LDS mode? Usually you have to have a target locked on and use the autopilot.

  • @maskills24 there is a key to enter LDS. try ''L'' and then +/-

  • have you ever played frontier: elite or frontier: first encounters? check them out

  • I agree, best space sim ever. When will we have I-war 3?? :P

  • can you get bigger ships like battle ships crusers deastroyers and other ships

  • you'll have a mission where you'll need to patch into a station platform and fly with it to a designated sector.. bat that's about it.

  • @sonicboomclan the biggest you get is a heavy corvette i believe, but it's damn large, and badass. if you are good, some destroyer wouldn't have the chance... :)

  • Orbiter is by far the most realistic space flight sim

  • i can't seem to find a copy of this game, i played a demo of it very long ago, finally now i know the name xD. a question though.

Does it suport joystick control? thanks in advance.

  • @sagemaster

For a copy you can check gog.com or amazon.

And yes indeed, it does support joystick control. If you try I-War 2 without a joystick you need 8 arms (like an octopus).

  • i can't seem to find a copy of this game, i played a demo of it very long ago, finally now i know the name xD

  • The FTL was a goog idea to move space in small step so even the hard turns was physicaly correct and they take attention to time dilatation when you moving with reletavistic speed. The result was that moving with FTL means that the outer time rans much faster which you was able to see in the clock.

But in the Iwar 2 the speed of ftl was little bit to fast to brigde many AE's in a few seconds. In the first you need a jump on hyperspace to reach the different planets in the solarsystem.

  • independence war 1&2 was both very great. I can remember that the first one was a little bit more realistic to Newton Dynamics. You was able to turn off the computerassistance so you was able to see how it is, but than its really hard to maneuver this ship.

Even with computerassistance it was very hard. In Iwar2 they reduced a little bit the realism but it was still very funny. I liked the realistic damagemodel and that they used 3 different types of Engines to move in space.

  • Boring guy but the game is good

  • Great video. I just recently started getting into space sims. I downloaded FreeSpace 1 & 2 and Independence War 2. I am amazed at how good these games are. I don't know how I missed these games many years ago when they were out. I went to GameFaqs.com and they did not even have a single review of Independence war...which is shocking because the game is just amazing.

  • Can anyone link me to a good Torrent for this game? I'd love to try it.

  • Just a question. How do you create realism if the game it self is a complete geuss of the future? The first thing i see in combat is a explosion. As far as i know ,it's impossible to have fire let stand a explosion in space.Seeing there's no oxygen.

Just a few pointers. No hate. greets.

  • the game is a complete story of the future it's not a guess.. and today we already know the physics of space, we don't have to guess how a ship fly's in it. The sounds and explosions are just special effects because like in movies.. they must be there. And fire or plasma exists in space, take a look at our sun that burns tons of hydrogen molecules every millisecond. :)

  • @maxxdamage01 I cant understand why when they added all that realism on physics they didnt do the same on the surroundings. I mean.. Stars just 3-4 times the size of a spaceship? Thats ridiculous.. Also the backgrounds look like a cloudy sky.. Nebulas are not dense and in reality most times we wouldnt realize it if we were inside one. I cant understand what they where thinking. They tried to have realism and they ended up with unltimate un-realism. lol :)

  • yes. the stars, planets and nebula are unrealistic. I don't thinks they are 3-4 times the size of spaceships.. maybe 10-15 times but still way too small. they probably did it to save some time and resources. they should have made bigger stars and respect the sun's temperature. no game is 100% realistic

  • @pizzaporno Yeah, you're damn lucky this game is realistic. It'd be a pain if we didn't have a sun. Or lack of pain, of any feeling actually, hell. Lack of existence.

Remember the universe started with an explosion. ;)

  • @Shodex4

Your reply to pizzaporno's comment reminds me of a joke:

Two hillbillies were on a space mission. Feeling bored they began to talk.

"Eh ... where are we going?"

    "To the sun."

"To the SUN?!?!? But ain't it much too hot there?!"

"Not for us dude. We're gonna land at night."

  • @pizzaporno

The way the ships move is realistic as far as I know - in *principle*, not in terms of quantity though (the distances bridged in this game are too enormous to be realistic).

Explosions are possible inside ships because ships contain oxygen and fuel. Missiles and rockets which contain oxygen and fuel can cause explosions in space too. But fireballs can't be very big, I guess, because of the surrounding vacuum.

  • @pizzaporno you can have explosions in space. They just don't burn. Explosions from an engine for example will only burn for as long as the fuel will burn (for example today's propulsion systems).

  • @pizzaporno Actually, it is possible to have short fires. Oxygen is present inside the space ship. If the oxygen leaks out of the ship, you have oxygen in space. While its near the ship, it has fuel. The ship has electricity, so it has a spark. There you have the 3 things needed for a fire. However, the oxygen would quickly be sucked out, allowing the fire to only burn for a short amount of time unless it was enclosed inside the ship, away from the vacuum of space.

  • @pizzaporno It is generally accepted that when a ship explodes there can be an explosion that will use up the ships atmosphere ie the oxygen fuel etc. that the ship was carrying.

Of-course this is only from simulations as we arn't blowing stuff up in space currently so you could argue against it too heh

  • @sueagplant "We arn't blowing stuff up in space currently" LOL LOL LOL good one 2 thumbs up

  • @pizzaporno oxygen from the ship ....its compressed air when it goes boom.

  • @pizzaporno indeed there would be explosions, esp if oxygen was in a ship and exposed to fire (with all the proper conditions of course). it would be very quick though.

with all sims they take an artistic perspective on most things. If we had a true space sim based on our current understanding there would be no real ship to ship combat. Mining and settling is about all we can do. Combat in space right now would be missiles, and anti missiles and in space those cant adjust trajectory quickly.

  • @pizzaporno remember that we have oxygen inside the ship, so, when we have an explosion, the oxygen that is burning might be the one that was inside that area of the ship and now is fleeing trough the hole that you just made.

  • @pizzaporno There is oxygen inside the ships. When they blow up, that oxygen can fuel fire for a limited time until it is consumed or it scatters.

  • Wing Commander series did a exellent job on there sims!.....

(The Price Of Freedom)is the game I had back then and there was no othere game like it!....even today!....Make anothere Wing commander game with todays graphics and you have an epic space simulation game!

  • @maxxdamage01 You should put a link to this game's GOG.com page in the description, so interested people might buy it.

  • space simulator yes but can u land on planets???

  • @ParadoxOfChaos

No, you can't land on planets, unfortunately. But the game is complicated enough without landing anywhere.

  • i used to have this game, and it was freaking amazing i've actually been wondering if it is still possible to find it for sale and if so will it run on Vista

  • @Chaser880

    amazon still has it.

For info on I-War 2 and Vista you can go here:

    i-war2.com/forum/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=2558&SearchTerms=run+on+vista

  • @issesdennwahr

Or you can get it on GOG.Com. Completely Vista/Win7 compatible and ready to go. I believe it's only $5.99. I just bought it after watching this video. Looks brilliant!

  • combat seems pretty slow and boring, i guess being realistic doesn't always translate to better gameplay.

  • yes.. this seams to be a very big problem nowadays.. today every game takes you directly into the action to avoid boredom of some young gamers and they have to sacrifice story and realism to do that.. but sometimes the game is realistic and has a grate story but takes long to enter into action.. the down side here is that only a few people who have passion for that type of game have the patience get through it.

  • @amyrulez64

"Slow and boring"? Does that fight sequence (beginning at 3:51 ) seem slow and boring to you? Combat in I-War 2 is fun. I'm speaking from experience. And sometimes it's very, very hard - especially when you're trying to attack freighters with precious cargo that are protected by 3 fast interceptors. Try and you'll see what I mean.

  • @amyrulez64

Sorry but uhh, I have to say that this guy is just a bad pilot xD. The combat in this game is intense.

  • Never played this game but how does it compare to Freespace 2?

  • this one is more realistic, more complex, it has better graphics and it has a grate story.

  • @maxxdamage01 Compare to Freelancer (I'm only interested in multiplayer)

  • @mysticking16

If you're new to it you should be warned: as a beginner you'll *curse* this game more than once - because it's very complex and difficult; in combat you'll die lots of painful deaths. *evil grin* I-War 2 requires a lot of patience. But once you've gotten used to all its details, you'll find it *fascinating.*

Don't try it without a good joystick!

  • @issesdennwahr Good thing I have one of my old Microsoft joysticks. Sidewinder precision 2

  • @mysticking16

If it has a twist handle (3rd axis), a throttle and a hat switch, I guess it's good enough for this game.

    Have fun!

  • @mysticking16 Iwar2 is more of an open world Flight sim. Freespace 2 is all pre caned space combat missions. In Iwar2 you can go out, pick a jump point or station to haunt and shoot down individual cargo ships, call in a ally to gather up the loot, and then sort it out at base and equip or sell what you got. FS2 is all fighter combat ala X-wing vs tie fighter.

  • Col Game!!! Will it work with XP?

  • @celticbattleaxe

I-War 2 does work with XP.

Hell YEAH this game is so old, but still so beautiful. With a good joystick it's endless fun. :-D

  • looks awfully boring to me. gonna pass on this one

  • 1:is it for pc?

    2:can i download it?

  • @bazukakias It's recently up on GOG.com

  • Pro

    1. AMAZING FLIGHT ENGINE. The best ever.

    2. Still good graphics.

    Con

    2. Not enough weapon variety.

    3. The "tug" you start with is stupid looking and takes forever to upgrade.

    4. The battles are not particularly satisfying because of the insanely annoying missile "buzz," and clumsy weapon response times. They are pretty cool though.

    5. The story was weird.

But I did like it, and with some modding, I think it could be AMAZING, maybe the best game EVER (seriously).

  • and what's the point of this game?

  • oh and if you look at the "space sim" genhre theres not much of a "simulation" in there. its more like "space roaming". look at the mother and father of all space sims - Frontier/Elite.

  • all this newtionian/physical mumbojumbo...

    what i REALLY care is:

    1. does it have much of exploration

    2. trading

    3. open-ended world

    4. variarity of gameplay and events

if i would like to fly real spacecraft i would aim for nasa not play games.

games are meant to be fun. and i find no fun factor in looking at the rock hiting a guys heads 100% realistic.

  • so? with what does it help us what you REALLY care or like? those are your desires. if you don't like this game wait or make one that you would enjoy. you seem to be the trading, exploring type.. (online games are best at this) & that takes a lot of time. I would advice trading and exploring in the real world.

  • @maxxdamage01

i have the right to voice my opinion. regardless if its helpfull or not. andi belive it is as many spacesim lovers advertise this game to me forgeting to say its not really spacesim but space COMBAT sim and this is a major diffrence. and my exploring in real life isnt possible, my wheel chair brutaly stops me from that.

  • sorry to hear that. well I think this game is destined for people under 20 years old. It's fun to play and it's physics engine is the best from all the other combat sims I played. I would choose mmorpg games like EVE if I had the time because they require thinking (that is if I ignore all the bugs and lack of realism)

  • @IrbisPL

Brotha you can't be makin no space sim....'coz to get from eath to Marz, yo be spendin a good 10 yeaz eatin cheeseburgers waitin for yo' "destination arrived."

And we don't no shit 'bout space, forget makin a sim 'bout 1. It'll be like a Haitian witch doctor makin a flight sim.

We don't even kno how planetz in da solar system look like and basic shit like what happen when a nigga fall into a blackhole? Does he get squish? Does he become a wigga? Space "sim" ain't possible today yo

  • @IrbisPL

Hey brotha, u kno what I consider a Space Sim? Seein how it be like flyin thru da Great muthafuckin Red Spot. Or da great dark spot in Neptune. Or pilotin a hi tech sub in Europa. Or flyin thru da sun to see if bigblackdyx become bbqblackdyx an how quick. Or flyin thru 2 galaxies collidin. DAT be a space "SIM"

So far bro, I ain't seen ONE space "sim" yet and dat 'coz we be knowin nothin' bout space!

  • One of my favorite PC games. I bought a flight stick just for IW2 and must've played it for months. I have yet to find another game like it (I tried X3 but there was just way too much micromanaging and I could never really figure out the interface). IW2 was really ahead of it's time. Heck, 8 years after it's release and it still looks gorgeous. This vid makes me want to dust off the flight stick and reinstall it...

  • Ohhh man, I bought the DVD a while back in 2009 for the fact that I played the demo in 2002!!! But my GeForce 2MX 200 wasnt fast enough for it to run good, though when I played the demo I relised smth very special about this game, the music is just EPIC, graphics are STILL good. The gameplay was very hard, wich is actually good I think, need to install it :)

  • well done maxxdamage01. i loved this sim when it game out and still do - just the right mix of realism, adventure and fun. i agree, still looks fantastic today!

  • they should make a multiplayer space sim.

  • search for blackprophecy_E3 I'm putting my hopes up for that one.

  • @maxxdamage01

WOW, that game looks orgasmic lol.

  • @maxxdamage01 check out the website, its comin out in november of 2010.. gonna be amazing

  • @maxxdamage01

isnt that one more like a point n click mmo than a multiplayer sim?

  • I think so. it will probably be more like X3. if it lacks too much physics and realism I will stop playing. We'll know soon enough when the beta will be released.

  • @Anon12356 Black prophecy and Jumpgate evolution is looking very cool. They are hopefully released soon. Can't wait!

  • @lonne16

    me too lol!! :D

  • @Anon12356 alot of use still playing Freelancer :)

  • @JohnnyLingLong

    oh cool thanks.

  • @Anon12356 Infinity Universe looks pretty awesome too.

  • @Darkology123

    sweet ^^

  • by the way the game the game wasnt made in 2002 it was made in 1999 .. dats wat made it so incredible.. wen dis game came in, dat time i thought dat all games henceforth wud look like dat or better..thought dat now that they know how to give such exxellent graphics in a relatively easy way to gamers along wid such intense stories..one wud see such level of games bieng made from now on... BUT HOW WRONG WAS I... particle systems, infogames shutdown.. and games like these r all but forgotten

  • @REXXBAILEY Actually you will find that it was released in 2001. I-War Deluxe was released in 1999. I-War 1 was released in Europe in 1997 and in America in 1998. I-War one does look slightly dated nowadays tho.

  • @47kittens ohh yeh dude dat mus be it .. and yeah i war 1 does look significantly dated and had it not been for its really awesome scale dat they had made it back then not many wud ave thought much bout it nowdays.. but I WAR- EDGE OF CHAOS is still majorly awesome even now..story, graphics and physics engine wise.. still very credible ..

  • Great game. But the ship physics were way better in I-war 1, especially with their subsystems damage which would leave you drifting if your power/engines were shot out until they were repaired :)

  • The ingame text said that the best LDS is 99% speed of light. In practice it was way faster then the speed of light. You could reach the star from the outer planet in the stellar system in less then 30 seconds.

  • Hmm. yes you are right and I had that feeling too.. I found on Wikipedia that the light from our sun reaches earth in 8 min and 19 seconds. so it should take hours to fly to an outer planet in IW2 even with 100% light speed.

  • @ShwangShwing

And thank goodness for that, the LDS is still one of the most inspired forms of intra-system transit I've seen in a space sim. So cool to actually fly to something you see in the background star-field instead of just passing through a gate or wormhole. You have to cut it some slack for its loose interpretation of physics ...

The game has gassy nebulae as well which is totally wrong but very cool to see one growing in front of you from a speck of light to a huge expanse.

  • @KrassoSzoreny About the nebulae. I've always wandered if the real nebulae can be seen with a naked eye if you were somewhere in space.

  • @ShwangShwing

If you were close enough (but still at a great distance) you could see one with your eyes sure, but if you flew towards it in your magical FTL space-ship, it would fade away .... once you were inside it, you wouldn't see any trace of it in your local region. The background star field would be dimmer than in clear space, though only your instruments could tell you that ... Far away Nebulae are also not nearly as colorful and pretty as NASA's colorized pictures show ...

  • Yeah it works fine on Vista, XP and Win7 and it looks great!!

  • will this thing work on xp???? and a beefed up system?? cs i knw some old games dnt work on a high end system

  • Hey, can you help me? I got stucked after the mission where you find and pirate Mass's ship in your nebula and in the next mission there are no mission objectives, what am I supposed to do?

Other than that, the game looks amazing, you just wouldn't believe it's almost 10 years old!!!!

  • @destraction100 course not brotha.

  • @NosAway now I am desapointed

  • @destraction100 please dont, its a very nice game. If you like space simulators you 'll enjoy it =)

  • can u go to a planet or something to buy stuph?

  • when i played that game a few years ago i had a problem configuring my keyboard and had to fight in free space by using the follow commands #LOL enjoyed it very much nonetheless it gave me a very deep feeling

  • Sorry for this,but I just CAN'T GET the settings working fine.....Can you please help me? I'm using win7 64b and Keyboard + Mouse(ofc)

  • put all settings to low or off. if it works fine.. start activating them one by one until you find the one that screws with your graphics

  • @maxxdamage01 That's a good idea, but not the graphics are the problem, they are all fine, meant the controls xD But yeah, thanks for telling me that i'll try for my problem

  • @idvhfd

There is a keyboard/gamepad configuration utility floating around the internet that will solve your problem. The issue is that the game shipped without any way of setting the controls. Even more frustrating, the game is particularly complicated in terms of keybinds, so it's a real pain in the arse. I originally had to do it by editing text files, I gather that's what you're having to do.

Also, this game REALLY works well with a Playstation 1/2 controller and I need more room to type h

  • @Ratznium Don't worry,you will have ur space for "H" xD

Well then, thanks for the help,I've got a PS1 controller(also 2 xbox 360 controllers but ummm yeah)...I am kinda too lazy to adjust things like this that are not scripted by me xD

ATM I've got some new games so yeah..playing that ones you know?

Thanks for the help and I don't need more room to type BYE BYE!

  • This is straight the best game ever made.
