  • sir

Why the current I2 is limited to 1/10th of Ic

  • The best Transistor biasing information on Youtube.

Thank you very much. As an Electronic Engineering first year student myself Ii find this very helpful.

On 7:00 I think when VCE = 0, then IC should =VCC/RC instead of VCE/RC. I think it was mistyped ;).

    Thx again great info.

  • having to listen to all that crap could not get to lecture

  • @kishoreiiap I agree - Vcc on the left at 16:27, not Vce.

  • Thank you

  • Can someone tell me the name of the breadboard simulating software use please?

  • I am a relentless troll that mispells words. Please hate me.

  • u r doing a great job sir

  • beauty

  • Thank you professor Natarajan for your valuable inputs

    Would like to comment that

    Ib=Ic/beta= 5mA/100=.05 mA; therefore Rb= Vb/Ib= 5.7V/.05mA= 114 K-ohm

  • Thank you professor Natarajan for your valuable inputs

  • good

  • sir tnx for sharing yopur knowledges

  • hola la verdad se ven muy interesantes los vídeos pero seria de una gran ayuda si le ponen la nueva tecnología de youtube tecnología "servicio de transcripción, subtitulaje y traducción automática para vídeos" se los agradecería mucho

  • hw to download

  • hay guys...I have NPN transistor TO-92 package....

How can i find the maximum Voltage to operate it on Collector & base..??if some1 knows....plzz reply me...........max Operating voltage & current..>>???

  • @tajiknomi The best method for approaching this problem is to keep cranking up the voltage untill smoke comes out of the transistor. At this point it is then safe to assume that you have gone too far. Hope this helps.

  • Thank you very much Professor...How do they deal with invertion at the output ? pass them through another amplifier ?

  • Great stuff, but please go slower over math, not faster! Thanks for the great work

  • the best free spice simulator in the world is LTSPICE IV. you can get it at the Linear Tech website.

  • I cant post the url, so Google for "falstad circuit simulator" to get the electronic circuit simulator applet.

  • Thank you so much from Brazil for such a brilliant lecture Prof. T.S.Natarajan.

Ive been using an java applet as an electronic circuit simulator. If someone knows about some "better" software, please let me know.

  • Very nice lecture

I have simulated it works fine thanks professor

  • Could you please tell me wich software you used to simulate the circuit ?

  • you are so hot..

  • there was an error in the simulation...the output was not inverted during the amplification

    PS:Thanks Prof.

  • Could you please tell me wich software you used to simulate the circuit ?

  • well i've no idea of the simulation software they have used here but if its a good simulator that u want, i would suggest multisim 10 and PSPICE

PS:i never simulated the circuit shown here

  • @hus787 I noticed that to, I think the program just made it in-phase. it's probably a program specific setting to knock the signal out of phase.

  • @hus787 is that so... but doesn't a common emitter circuit supposed to give off inverted output.

    i'm very confused :\

  • @pusongnilurayluraymo nothing to be confused off mate...and u have ur facts straight i.e. a common emitter HAS inverted/out-of-phase outputs(in fact thats wat i wrote)

the simulation shown in the video had an output that was in-phase with the input.

    so wats confusing u now?

  • Thank you for uploading nice video .

  • Hei,

I think there is a wrong text in the minute 16:53. when he spoke about Vce=IcRc+Vce+Re(Is+Ic) .....If you look at this formela you will see at Vce are in the both sides and it doesnt mean any thing.... If I'm wrong I would like that someone can explain it for me and I'll be thankfull..

And not forgeting to say that its an awsome work and nice lecture :-)

  • Vcc = .... is the correct. It is just a typo.

At 16:16 there is a schematic which will make things clearer for you.

    :)

  • Great job professor. I had been strugling with the concepts for some time and this videos has clarified everthing for me

  • I just wish that the picture quality was better. I'm having trouble seeing the formulas and the schematic details. Otherwise it's great!

  • @evensteve284 hey there is a plenty of other resources...ommon now dont be lazy...you can understand hard parts from video..

  • @goodbyelonglive44 I don't understand how my not being able to see the formulas and schematic details makes you think I'm lazy. I'm squinting and straining to see; so I'm doing extra work! I'll repeat: I think that this whole series of lectures is great; they have helped me very much. Cheers goodbyelonglive44! {;-)

  • Hello prof Natarajan, thahks from Estonia for Your cursussen and they are fine work, thanks again I wish you can make more of these

  • lectures given by the IIT professors are indeed wonderful.

  • its nice lectures,

  • this is a good video
