  • During WWII there was a shortage of men to work in this park. The state lowered the employment age to 16. I had just turned 16 and jumped at the chance to work there. I worked in the KM state park for for the next 7 summers while I attended Campbellsport HS and Lawrence college. I have fond memories of working there with the state personnel.
