When I watched the trailer for the 1. time, I thought it's kinda boring. The trailer could (SHOULD) have be done better. Thank god I read some reviews von amazon and bought the movie, because it is very very beautiful and touching.

But it's also really really sad. I realized there won't be an happy ending the second the music started - it's way too melodramatic to end good - but I didn't expected it to be so definite.

The boys did a good job, I even ignore some of the illogicality.

I bought the DVD. The best scene is chapter 7 from 1:03 to 1:06:30 which I will refer to as "Between The Candles". Watch the DVD and you will understand. Truly a wonderful story of gay relationship and romance with one sad part, but with a happy ending.

Beautiful film. Completely broke my heart. Both young actors were amazing. Pitch perfect. Gorgeous, thought provoking, perfectly captures the wonder and passion and intoxication of first love. The feeling that you'd rather die than not get to be with the one you love. Just perfectly portrayed in every aspect. The loneliness of being a teen who has to grow up too soon and has no foundation who can never feel safe/secure juxtaposed with a teen who is so much an outsider but so centered/loved.
