  • cable management -.-

  • Is this still good to todays standards?

  • só faltou ai a fonte !!!!!

  • jizz.

  • that blue like annoy me so much

  • IS 700 watt PSU powerful enough to run 2 Radeon 5750's in SLI oced?

  • @Vince62965 best way to check is to go to antec.com and go to there PSU calculator. You have to not only watch the minimum wattage on the cards but you also have to look at the Required Amps on the +12v Rail for your cards

  • @hybrdsnipr And if i have a litle less power on the +12 rail wil the grafic work ?

  • @Vince62965 it would run normally on a 550W. i am currenty running i7 860 @4GHz and a GTX570 on a chieftec 550w

  • @Vince62965 you cannot SLI Radeon cards.

  • @MeIsGenuine Called crossfire same thing as SLI

  • 9800's don't stack well in SLi, you were probably better off with a DDR5 card, and just getting another when you had the cash.

  • @smilie120 I would agree with you, But i built this rig almost 3 years ago. back then the SLI 9800GT competed very well with all the other cards, not only in performance but in price. if i were building this now i would go with either SLI 560's or SLI 570's and not anything from the 9 Series cards due to age.

  • did you overclock your cpu? i got my q9550 somwhere around 3.80

  • @UntitledDemon no i did not. it runs fast enough for me to not have to OC it.

  • nice machine do

  • fakeyou and your pc(shit)...

  • new vid...? one with cable management lol ;). nice pc

  • Would you like any Computer with your Blue? Nice rig

  • holy heatsink batman!

  • nice kandalf case :D

  • how much power did this require i have a 600 watt do u think thats enough to run both cards

  • @TUNA111111111111 i have a Antec TP3 650watt PSU running my rig

  • @TUNA111111111111 i have a Antec TP3 650watt PSU running my rig

  • How much did this setup cost?

  • @Olaipai about 1300 all said and done.

  • Comment removed

  • could you message me the name of this song?

  • hey how did you add the 8GB Ram did you have to buy 2 (2x2GB) Dual Channel Kits of Ram?

  • yah they were 2x2gb kits

  • I have the same case. It's awesome.

  • LOl that is the CPU I want to get!

  • its fast as hell

  • I'd prefer having better DDR3 ram than 2 video cards.

  • im on ddr2 still.. i got another 2gb and another card..ram is relatively cheap..just looking for the right latency's and stuff you cna pull off £30 for 2gb of extremely good ram..and a card from ebuyer for £90 and my pc is back up to scratch unlike 2 years ago when it was amazing back then woo! but i have futureproof hardware..tweakable to shitt##

  • DDR3 is also cheap. If you want to get DDR2 that is worth your while, you'd just have to spend a bit more and get superior DDR3's. With 2 video cards running, and DDR2 ram, sometime soon, you're going to have a severe case of bottlenecking.

  • Oh I also forgot to mention, you're going to need to upgrade that dual core soon. Games don't like Dual Cores now days.

  • are there any 9800 gt or 9600 gt for ddr2 ?

  • they should be all GDDR3

  • @hybrdsnipr your processor didn't come with a heat sink and fan??

  • Hmmm , do you have to buy the SLI connecter seperately? Or does it come with any SLI ready nvidia card.

  • comes with your SLI motherboard.

  • should come with a 2way sli connector anda 3way sli connecter. i know that asus do send out allot of gadgets with their motherboards..my asus striker II formula came with a heap load of stuff!

  • its blue <3 : D -Intel Core 2 Quad Q9550 Processor -EVGA nforce 780i Motherboard -OCZ Dual Channel DDR2 800MHz Memory 8GB -EVGA GeForce 9800 GTX+ Video Card - 512MB GDDR3(X3-SLI) -Coolmax 1200-Watt Power Supply -VelociRaptor 150GB SATA HD 10,000 RPM 16MB -Thermaltake SpinQ CPU Cooler - Socket 775 -Plextor PX-880SA DVD/CD Super Multi Writer -Cooler Master HAF 932 Full Tower Black Case -and a random 1.5TB hard drive(nothing special) do i has a good computer?
  • yea

  • i wasnt just showing off i was goona buy them from tiger direct and i was asking if it was good then someone told me not to get them.i got them anyways tho even tho other people said they wernt that good but they have a lifetime warrenty so im getting them anyway.

  • @JarretJarrey damn dude u has teh good pc i was thinking of building one of these -Intel Core 2 Duo e8400 Processor -ASUS P5N-D LGA 775 MotherBoard -Rosewill 750-Watt Power Supply -G.Skill 2x2gb (4gb) Ram -Sony Optiarc Black DVD Drive -Coolmaster HAF 922 Mid tower case -Sparkle Geforce 9800 gtx+ Video Card 512MB GDDR3(2 way sli) -Western Digital 1 terribyte HDD :D I like your HAF better :( but my budget is low so w.e 922 can fit 2 9800 gtx+ cards :D
  • Pretty good but i no like the core 2 duo, haha

ur sure goona need a big case to fit the 9800's lol

Do you play Counter Strike? i love that game.

  • @JarretJarrey Yea i do I luv it to :) And the coolmaster HAF is pretty big so im sure it'll fit :D

  • hmmmmm got 2 pny 9800gts 1 gb and o'c . i wonder what that adds up too ? is it a 285 ?well anyways its a great gpu.I might get the 5970 but wonder if i should wait for the 300 before i upgrade

  • no its about the same preformance as a GTX260, BUT the FPS is much more stable then with a single GTX260.

  • yea your right sorry i was buzzing a bit when i wrote it .

  • I am going to buld or upgrade my pc from one 4890 to two, and my tricore 2.1 phenom to quadcore 2.5 phenom. Is it worth it. Do i even need to upgrade, my main thing is i want to play modern warfare 2.

  • i love this song

  • what a pc man. WOW. lol. i've got

    xfx 750a SLi

    500gb HD 7200rpm adding another 500gb 10000 rmp

    4gb OCZ 800mhz

    amd phenom tricore 2.4 ghz.

    Nvidia 9800gt 512 + 1gb from ram (total available gpu == 1.7gb)

700watt thermal take psu tri rails.

i want to sli the 9800gt with another 512mb 9800

    do you recommend it?

  • no absolutley no! get a direct x 11 card ffs!

  • whats the point, "dx11" was announced in 2008, there has been nothing said since then, theres like what under 20 games that support dx10.1. so have fun buy a dx11 card and waiting a year afterwards for something that actually supports it, THEN when dx11 finally breaks into the market, dx12 will be out. lol so pointless

  • lol living in the past I see, havent you seen the list of direct x 11 games who will be released under 2010? google it my friend...

  • the new beta drivers for the 260 increase performance by 10% and up to 50% with sli

  • not bad not bad at all bud i have the same case and with the same lights :P im also waiting on my sli motehrboard and my second GTX 260 core 216 cant wait

  • thats not bad dude. c2q is over kill for 9800gts in sli though.. you should of got a e7400 or a e5200 maybe e 8400?

  • bad cable management

  • there all hidden now. i finished the pc at like midnight and i was tired. trust me i wouldnt leave them like that

  • ok, nice setup!

  • haha

same when i made my pc i was up till 5 in the morning making sure everything was perfect!!

    nice setup

  • HI =)

I've got one 9800GT, and want to buy a Asus M2N-E SLI For SLI with that card, but is it wurth it? Or shold I buy only a 1Gb card instead? (I don't got a SLI MB right now)

  • hi,

to be honest with you you wont see to big of a difference between the 512mb and 1gb cards (like 3-6fps diff tops)

i would suggest not going with an Asus board. i work at a computer store and i have had nothing but problems with asus boards. they were good 5 years ago, asus is releasing garb lately in there products, i would stick with EVGA if you could

  • ok:) Thx for answer.right now I just got a ALiveNF6P-VSTA, But 9800GT and AMD 4x 940 soon, so I'll be good for 09 I guess, more Ram is comming too, I only play games like wow, CSS, COD, Prototype, So i'll be fine with my 9800GT and ALiveNF6P-VSTA :) Thx again for answer

  • I got a 780i along with an E8200(2.66GHz) I already had a 9800GT and I can run crysis on high at around 30fps on 1280x1024 4xAA. I'm not sure if you mean by getting another 9800GT with 1GB or a better graphics card with 1GB. I say if you get 2 9800GT's you should be good for another year or two maybe more if you overclock :). Get a mid or high range graphics card after your current one starts giving you low fps's on your games.

  • nice set up bro, spent half my monet on 2 of those when building my computer LOL, but their epic =3, just currious on 2 things are those 2 512MB or 2 1GB videocards (like what i have) because they both look the same =S, also what song is that?

  • there two 512mb. i did the research on both and the price diff didn't justify the performance because on all the benchmarks for games the 1gb cards in sli only did about 2-4fps better. and i really am not sure on the song i just found it lol

  • yeah tru but thats all they had at the store xD

  • It's by DJ Tiësto called Adagio For Strings

  • i knew it sounded like tiesto

  • wow u rich man

  • no alot of over time lol

  • thank you dan. you know tomorrow its sunday im goin to buy the core i7, im saving to much for this day this are the specifications for the micro. Processor: Intel® Core™ i7 Quad Processor 920

    Architecture: Nehalem 45nm, LGA1366

    Thermal Design Power: 130W

    Hyper-Threading: 8

    Smart Cache: 8MB

    Clock Speed: 2.66GHz

  • dan but i cant use that kind of video card HD4870X2 in my motherboard becose its designed for SLI video cards not for crossfire or im wrong. mi motherboard its an envidia 790i ultra i choose the way of envidia i like its designed but let me know if i can use crossfire in this board ok tks

  • just yesterday i buy my 790i lsi and im exited about built my machine. hey do you think if i buy an 850 watts power supply will be enough to run 3 video cards i hope you answer me please nelson

  • it shouldl be. what video cards?

  • do not cheap out on PSU's, it will eventually kill your equipment if you underpower them, get a famous brand thats reliable and id go for a 1000w psu if your using tri-sli for safety.

  • tks dan ill get a better psu, hey other question,i want you to hel me to decide i dont know which micro proccesor its better, intel core 2 quad 9.6 or intel core i7 which you can recomenme i want my machine for gaming xperience i hope you can answer me tks in advance

  • i7 all the way get stepping though, if you have the cash that is the cutting edge, quad core at quick speeds and with the right cooling many can Overclock it to 4GHZ!! it will play any game as smooth as possible, if you paired it up with 2 HD4870X2 (I think its called that) in crossfire thats 4GB of gaming memory, then slot in some decent RAM 1066 Mhz or the fastest speed you mobo supports and around 6GBs of it and you have a system that would play crysis great! and max out all other games!

  • what is the name of the song?

  • have the same board and its awesome!!!

  • wire management needed lool

  • The 750I looks like the 780I and the 790I

  • its got pretty much the same set up minus dual gigabyte. and a couple extra SATA ports

  • no 3x sli

  • nice job, KUDOS man

  • thanks

  • hey man, im just wonderin if i had 2 similar cards with different coreclocks (xfx 9600gt extreme + xfx 9600 gt alpha dog with 680mhz and 740 mhz) will it work? also do i have to connect each of the cards tothe power connector or just the primary? thanks

  • ive seen a basic 9800GT sli'd with a 9800GT akimbo. it may work. and you have to have power to both cards.

  • how's the performance of the 9800 gt in SLI mode? is it worth it? pls tell me.. cause i'm thinking of an upgrade.. :D

  • there pretty good, im able to run pretty much anything maxed out. id suggest you going with a GTX260,285 or 295 though

  • tnx.. I already have one 9800 gt.. so i think I'll go with the SLI cause the 260 and the other GTXs are just too expensive here in the Philippines.. :D

  • well make sure u get the EXACT SAME card or it wont work, u run into problems with different batches too.. thats why the reccomend to to get the cards at the same time

  • ok.. thank God I another card that's exactly the same as mine.. thanks for the help.. :D

  • o no problem

  • what do you score on 3DMarks06? i have the exact same comp except with an e8400 and 1 9800 gt - the second one is coming this weekend.

    i score around 13k

  • tie3eeeeeeeestoo

  • nice

  • nice build, need sunglasses tho xD

  • if your going to build a pc may as well do it right that is a awsome build mate really future proof with that.

  • lol thats the way i felt, thanks man!

  • Damn 1100!

I bet the cpu alone was 300-400 lol. But very nice rig. I originaly wanted to go with a 9800gt and sli later but instead got a 9800gtx on newegg when they were 140 each. But if you OC those pretty desently u could get a score on 3dmark of atleast 20xxx

Ive seen some one do that before

  • lol yah the cpu was like 349 or sumthing but it was worth it, yah i got both 9800GT for cheap through where i work. i can run anything i want maxed out with good fps.

  • wat games u play n wat fps u get?

  • Crysis, UT3, NFS undercover, quake wars, css kinda games.

ive got all those games maxed out and im seeing nothing lower then 50fps

  • wow! this is a wiked setup.....how much did she set u bak?............i have to get an sli motherbooard!

  • thanks man. eh round 1100. yah sli is sweet
