What about hummingbird nectar? It would have been nice to hear Chip's view on using red dye in hummingbird nectar something Perky Pet and its Parent Company continue to push, but experts agree should not be used. Given that fact that experts like the Cornell Lab of Ornithology state that red dye might be harmful to hummingbirds and should not be included in the making of hummingbird nectar, why does Perky Pet insist on using it?
