@nerdykid136, I'd recommend it to pretty much anyone who can afford it. It's actually more durable than 98% of the RC planes on the market. You could probably crash it 100 times before needing to buy anything, whereas a normal RC might need replacement parts after the second or third crash.
well the megatech avion plane is 20 bucks and it flies just asw good as this plane who cares if this plane uses 900mhz or carbon fiber body its too much money
hey don't get mad at me but there are subtle differences, like the landing gear, the proportional tail control, and the fact that this is smaller and can go in smaller places, but I would definitly not sat its worth almost 300 more, no-one would, thats why they droped the price to 120, which I wouldn't buy it for, but its better then 300
yes you can. but you can't compare a gas one which you must fly outside and it weights much more and it's much bigger with a indor flyer which weights only 3.5 grams!
You can't get a decent RC airplane at Wal-Mart for 50 bucks, so don't expect this thing to go for that price. Keep in mind it comes with a 900MHz spread-spectrum radio system, charger, case, flight sim accessories, etc.. The body is made from Carbon Fiber and hand-assembled in Canada (i.e. not China). And most importantly, these are being made literally a few at a time. That's why it costs what it does.
I've done a few planes that way... Google for an online store named Homefly. They sell carbon fiber rod and 2um mylar sheet. Another good store for parts is BSD micro. You can buy Plantraco components and other stuff there.
Plantraco, it didn't fly that great when I first bought it... it needed a lot of speed to stay in the air. After replacing the mylar and making some other tweaks it flies a thousand times better now. I need to post another video :)
THX helps lot ! nice vid btw :)

would you suggest this plane to a person who has rc cars and hellis but has never flown a plane?

well you get more of a thrill out of a gas engine plane which you have more space to fly
and its obvious this plane cost more than its worth

So the wings are out of mylar sheets?
Xertazer 4 years ago
they are 300$

fairly good - keep practicing so you don't porpoise so much. You can fly much smoother with practice.
