Awesome car, but that sounds exactly like my $300 piece of crap 318 powered '74 Satellite that I drove in High School, when I took the exhaust out of it and thought I was a badass by driving down the road with nothing but the exhaust manifolds hooked up. Put a proper exhaust on that thing, it's too nice to sound like some random asshole's '77 Chevy pickup :p

@kcole939most people think that because it happens when they go big..too large of an exhaust system will cause more back pressure because the gas has to expand to fit the larger pipes and loses its energy then slows all the gases down reducing the vacuum that pulls the exhaust out and causing a lose in power. it causes MORE back pressure. less back pressure is for high rpm applications whereas the standard vehicles today have been designed to run off some back pressure for efficiency reasons

@bobw77 You can't explain that to the typical Youtube mechanic, though. They do not comprehend that expanding gasses release their heat energy, which slows the flow when there is too large of an exhaust system.

I had a run in a couple days ago with some guy who thinks that compression ratios affect the exhaust system. Just can't tell him that the heads will flow that same CFM of air/fuel whether it's being compressed to 1/8th (8:1) of it's volume at 1 atmosphere, or 1/10th (10:1). LOL.

@kcole939 understanding cr is probably one of the more difficult things to do when it comes to motors. the heads can only flow what they were designed to flow and nothing more unless you modify or change them no matter what the cr.

@jmc6000 what makes you think its a 2 valve? i dont think its an 03/04 supercharged, but if you knew anything about mustangs, you would know that any cobra in this bodystyle (99-04) is a 4 valve, and the bodystyle before that..........shit the last cobra made with a 2 valve was a 93 with the 351, 17 years ago, where the F have you been?!!

the car is a cobra, so it comes with the 4 valve, so the bubbly is from them, the gt is only still 2, so the only ones that makes this beautiful sound are the cobra, and mach 1 :)
