Erin, could you PLEASEanswer this one question? im a huge fan of yours and ive seen you use smashbox brushes in some of your videos. how are they? are they better than mac? im looking in investing some of them, and would like your opinion

I have 3 Smashbox brushes, ONLY because I got them as gratis when I used to work for the company. They aren't bad, but I would definitely choose the MAC brushes over the Smashbox brushes. But even with that, I would get the Billy B. brushes over MAC brushes. Hope that helps!

oh wow! i'm the opposite in that i recently got 3 smashbox brushes and love love them. i find them denser and so much more softer than mac blending brushes which i now feel are a bi scratchy. i just got the smashbox holiday set last weekend and love 'em.
Are Billy B's brushes available at stores? I've not come across them in SF. I would like to try them.
