HOWTO Chroma Key in Final Cut Express FCE

Hey, when I put the GS footage on track 2, and my video on Track 1- the preview shows up perfect, just how I want it to be, but as soon as I render it, the video goes black, and only shows an outline of my GS footage? Please could you help? Good tutorial too, I've probably just got lost somewhere. Thanks,
