Quite honestly, those machines can do a lot more. Don't wanna hate. But meh! It's not bad music, just wholly uninteresting. Come on man that's one of the best drum machines out there and you program a typical 4 on the floor and leave it unattended? The monomachine is able to create some fucking wicked sounds and I just hear expired techy cocktail lounge cliches. These machines are bad ass and they require the user to be as well. C'mon son, u can do better.
wicked combo of gear dud. I was running similar but with electribes and ableton. I went total ableton and got rid of the tribes for some more fancy midi controllers. Big mistake. Hardware and software together rule. Sometimes its just nice to have a knob do what it says. Plus analog can get a bit chunkier in my opinion.
@jsonmeds The 4 lights on the lower right indicates that it is a MK II since the MK I only have 3 lights. As far as I know they are very similar except the extra barlength but that is not of importance if you connect it to computer and trigger it by midi or play it as any other midi instrument.
