Another Marino boogie woogie tune! Just an example of how diverse this guy is. One of the most unappreciated true rockers ever.... This album kicks ass...
a masterpiece, one of the best,,,,, some good hearings ....remember was summer vacation 'n i was some kind high up with TSIPOURO (home made greek drink)he's song was really kick,n bad ..i mean Real bad..loud and some litlle dud saiz '''yeah thio(ungle)''we blow the place w this guy......LONG LEAVE FRANKY ...here in greece WE LOVE YOU
i bought it here in the UK in 1980 and i still play it to death.Saw Frank here in 83 on the Juggernaut tour and even tho he did a 2 and a half hr show, didnt play anything off this album.
This was a rare album to find back then, 1980 or 1981 I believe. CBS records wouldnt release the album for contract reason(those bastads) so It took some time to get. Frank is the best shredder there is, tasty, soulful, melodic, jazzy, bluesy, and flat-out speed. Plus having Jim and Paul as your rhythm section was all the better. Most intense jams I ever seen.
About 27 years ago...when we were teenagers, my brother copied this album from an LP onto a casette tape. It became one of my favorite tapes ever, along with my extensive collection of Deep Purple and Rainbow tapes. :) Only a genius can write music like this. If it were produced today it would be just as genius as it was then.
Frank is best!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Frank actually hated this cover. his relationship with cbs was tenuous at best. great album though. this is my favorite song off it.
