very good video my friend . i am greek my self . some facts . greeks = 10.000 persians = 300.000 ( according to herodotus ) spartans exactly 300 . they held 4 about 3 days & fall after the betrayll of ephialtis ( nightmare ) who was a simple sheep herder . not deformed as in the movie . he just wanted money . not a tragic figure . simple traitor . xerxes dispite the movie was very wise & clever . but greeks knew the place better & better generals . leonidas was king of sparta . 2.500 years ago

@hobitcook Most people do not know that when the 300 Spartans had there last stand, there were also 1,000 Athens that chose to fight with him, and perish. Some people disagree about this because "it was not in the movie, 300, that the Athens were cowards and decided to leave." Also, there were more than 300 spartans at the pass, Leonidas had most of his men leave after he knew that he was going to die, his "rest of his 300 spartan army" as-well.
