I really like this song, wasn't what I was expecting from him but it slightly reminds me a bit of 'when you were young' but tbh I think this is better.

I bought Flamingo on mflow for £2.99, nice solid album from Mr Flowers I must say.

He gave a fantastic performance, but I have to say that I didn't care for his demeanor during the whole thing. He almost seemed like he was getting cocky or something, perhaps because of the fact that he's on his own. Even his outfit was a bit off. He should say "Goodbye" to his solo career, and devote his entire musical talent to The Killers.

The only reason he made a solo album is because Mark & Dave wanted to rest a bit, but Brandon had a bunch of new material that he thought he shouldn't wait to record and get out, so Mark, Dave, and Ronnie all gave him the green light, and he recorded this album.

Brandon just said that The Killers are making a new album next year. He just didn't want to wait nearly 2 years from the end of the tour.

@ccbc23 Do you honestly think I don't know that? I know that they didn't want to keep going, but he did. I know that Ronnie helped him record a few tracks with him on the drums. And they're NOT coming out with an album next year, they're starting to work on one, but it'll probably come out in 2012.

And you can't argue that he doesn't look different, because it's an opinion.

Why should he stop if he has a bunch of songs flowing through his brain that he needs to put out, especially if some aren't TK material?

Brandon just said this regarding the new album.. "We haven't set a date yet, but it is for the next year. " From my understanding, that's not when they'll return to the studio, that's when it'll be out.

I'm not arguing his looks; more so his demeanor. I just don't think he looks cocky.

@moltendarthvader style wise he doesnt look different, he just looks a bit older than before. And I agree why should he not put out more songs himself? He is a talented music writer & vocalist. And its correct, the band wanted to take a break, Brandon's mother died from cancer and he's keeping himself busy. Sometimes the best music or material a person creates is during times of grieving.

Glad you got your tickets. I paid £200 for 2 tickets for the RHA gig but worth every penny. Cost me about £400 in all for the weekend. Was looking to go to Leeds on 13 October but my daughter's birthday so can't really go as not fair on her. I could take her as she knows most of The Killers stuff but none of Brandon's solo work. Hope you enjoy the concert. :)

Spend more time paying attention in class & less time watching You Tube.....

There are many flaws with the low tracking shots, granted they are minor but they are there non the less. Patrick, or Paddy as we lovingly call the cameraman is very talented, he does however whack the end stop of the zoom on his first zoom out, has moments of indecision & missed a cue on one of his shots by about half a bar......

Good effort though!

Thanks for the video. Didn't know he was on Alan Carr otherwise I would have Sky+ it. Great performance as usual - pitty about backing vocals. Just need to get tickets to a forthcoming gig as sold out when I tried. Saw Brandon and the guys at Royal Albert Hall when they filmed for the DVD. It was fantastic.

Wow you are so lucky you got to go to the Royal Albert Hall Gig! I was in uni at the time, so was totally oblivious to live shows. As for the forthcoming gig, I didn't know he was playing in Birmingham until like 3 days ago.. and by then the tickets were all sold out. I found some on ebay, double the price.. which is a bummer, but it had to be done :(

Brandon usually is nervous with the TV performances, but it doesn't show in his singing! He has done great in this video, as he always does. I'm really disliking the audience here, jeez, who wouldn't get nervous with them all just sitting and staring... Also, what kind of an idiot would put Brandon Flowers, and effing KATY PERRY in the same show?! WHAT.THE.HELL. Lets leave one to the good music and one to the bad. THANKS. I think the pressure of being on tv messes him up. His live gigs always sound SO good. The last gig blew me away. I kept turning to my friend to comment on how good he sounded. He got into the groove here though. Just the very beginning sounded shakey.
